Is there any way to alter this design to adding/removing a book from a chiselled bookshelf rather than pressing a button? I know this system uses a pulse rather than a constant signal but just wondering if it was possible; I'm not that redstone savvy

I don't see why not just connect it to the pulse extender like you would if it was a button

Always working on making it easier and cleaner! Gonna do a Flush 3x3 and 4x4 soon but I think that would be the limit

Have they patched clicking through the stairs? I can’t seem to be able to click through it

Nope you are just missing the button, it takes a bit of practice. Make sure you aren't too close to the wall be like a block or two away. And maybe practice with stone brick stairs because they have a line as an indicator, you'll see where the horizontal and vertical line meet and try clicking there or 1/2 pixels to the left or right of that depending on the orientation of your stair

Yeah because the stair prevents that exact thing from happening Aldo you can use a slab too, I used a stair because when you craft them you get enough for hidden input and for the redstone it was just continent instead of using a slab

I guess you aren't used to redstone, this is one of the smallest contraptions so how do you deal with farms and such on larger scale

I just tested this in my creative world before trying in survival and I found it pretty straight forward to build and IT WORKS! Lol I chose this one mostly for its simple build and reasonable redstone resources. Great build and thanks 😊

I'm not sure what to say there's only 2 reasons it wouldn't work 1. You did something wrong 2. You are in Java not Bedrock

Blue concrete is not necessary it's just a block I use for tutorials since redstone dust is easy to see on video on it due to contrasting colors, if its spamming open and close then you did something wrong creating a loop of redstone somewhere making a clock
