Hello Guys TheySix Is here with a New Video, In this Tutorial I Will Show you how to make an Extremely Fast and Efficient Iron Farm In Minecraft 1.21

⭕This is a new version of the last iron farm!! [Simple Portal Based Mega Iron Farm] ( what's new?! )
📚The range, size, heights, and other things are changed in this version
📚In this version, used the 4 villagers method which can increase the efficiency of the farm up 100% ( it means 100% possibility of the spawning of 1 iron golems on sometimes 2 iron golems! )
📚You can build this farm in 20 - 60 mins ( each quad side )
📚also, you can add more layers vertically and horizontally to the farm, for this just go up by 15 - 16 blocks from the portals ( rooftop ) and repeat the same you did in the bottom layer.
📚the problem of iron golems which they got stuck in the walls is fixed
📚due to new mechanics you can get 100% efficiency of your iron farm performance
📚the collection system item wasting on the last version is fixed ( 30 - 40% of items were getting back to the overworld in the last version which means the items are wasting )

You say the collection system is fixed however i am still losing a large portion of my iron in the overworld, do you have a fix? also, I believe the iron golems are only spawning at night. :(

Is the trick with the sticky piston and daylight sensor correct to make the farm work in daylight

Good farm, just a small addition to prevent the farm to stop working is to change the slab on top of the zombies to a full block and put a sticky piston pointed downwards with a daylight detector set to activate at night on top of the piston. You can also put 4 villagers in each cell for better productivity

I just built the farm and yea it not working when it’s day do I just have the sticky piston pointed down at the block so when it’s day it punches the zombie down and at night it off?

@@henrikteigen3502 yes at night the sensor activates and pushes the zombie down from the villagers eyesight so you reset the villagers "scared" status

I can’t place a full bock in place of the slabs because the slabs are built in between the top and bottom full blocks and i don’t wanna move the whole farm down a slab :(

Took time to build cause of the mobs of the farm, but it's all worth it! Just some minutes while finishing the farm and it already got me a full stack of iron BLOCKS!!! Thank you for designing it, it's really efficient. BTW, as @lordofdawn said below, since the villagers need to sleep some times, it's also necessary to build a small contraption so they cannot see the zombie and sleep from time to time, otherwise the farm will eventually stop working. I put sticky pistons on each zombie cell, and connected them all to an observer facing a daylight sensor set to night mode, so that instead of blocking the zombies all night, it will block it just for a few seconds, just enough for the villagers to sleep a bit. I also used repeaters for the delay, but I don't think it's necessary.

To everyone whose farm is not working properly or stopped working after a few minutes, here's what you need: - The zombie's pods should be exactly one block above what is shown on the video. - Replace the slabs above the beds by placing string (aim for the bed while crouching to place the string) and then carpets on top of the string. Do this only for the slabs above the beds. I was having tons of problems with farm not working at daytime/night, villagers not getting scared, etc. This fixed everything. Btw this was a great video except for those details, totally loved it, farm works perfectly now. Hope it helps someone :)

for those who found it only works at night, I figured out that the 4 slabs facing the zombie were blocking the line of sight so replacing them with trapdoors fixes it. It only worked at night because the line of sight was made as they were going down to sleep for the night.

I built the iron farm exactly as the tutorial suggested. I even used Litematica to overlay the schematic on the actual build to ensure that everything is in the correct place. However, the farm doesn't seem to be working during the day, and not all villagers are reacting to the zombie. Some of them continue to sleep.

With 4 modules the farm produces around 22 lingots per minute, 1320 per hour. Considering that zombies and villagers aren't easy to work with i wouldn't go for this design. Sorry for the english btw

I'm sorry I don't try to leave mean comments but this tutorial is rly bad. I the beginning is so vaguely explained and I just realized halfway through the video that I did a step wrong because I wasn't sure what you did because you went over it so quick and now I need to restart the farm. I'm just going to have to find a better tutorial.

@@TheySix Going back and watching it I could've figured it out I guess but what I had gotten tripped up on was the height of the slabs. I placed them all as the bottom half of a block instead of the top half and that threw off everything with the build. I could've figured it out myself but if the video went a tiny bit slower I think I could've caught the mistake. Not trying to bring the tutorial down or anything though and I actually really respect you for reading and replying to each comment so just keep it man.

There is a lot of way to improve this farm to the sky. But i think with bigger spawn blocks for the golems (2x16x6 is perfect, wich portals as limit of each 2x16 platform) and with @FrancoNSosa piston thing, it wold be perfect!

If anyone want use this farm properly or any other portal based farm and use the pehkui mod, then you should change in the mod config the accurateNetherPortals to false. When this is on true, in this case, the iron golem will spawn next to the portal or into the portal frame.

you have to place the minecarts correctly also if you are able its better to use a portal and 9 hoppers ( with a tube ) for your killing chamber that will be much easier

I love this fram it help a lot but the bad thing is i can only afk for 10 minutes on the smp but most of that i get 500 to 1000 of afk for 10 minutes so thank you and i will use lot more of yours frams

Whenever any Iron Golem gets teleported to the nether and dies, their items will drop into the portal and will be sucked back to the overworld. Hopper Minecarts are all in place, any suggestions?

it doesn't matter make sure you placed the beds and slabs correctly make sure your villagers slept overnight and make sure your portals are connected correctly and afk loc is in the middle of the farm

Rly Simple to understand, the Building is not that hard to do. But i have a Problem with the Drops from the Iron Golems. The Iron and Flowers get Teleportet back to the Overworld instead of getting picked up by the Hopperminecarts. Its an easy Fix, i just have to change the Killingchamber but i thought im gona share this here.

I think you only need one killing chamber even if you expand more than 4 quads, just keep in mind that every new quad must have 15 blocks of distance from each other

Yes if you build a lot sides then it can but this one is depend on your system stats too

I want to explain it better listen each block in nether is 8 blocks at overworld which means if you move 10 blocks it’s 80 blocks in overworld use calculator I have to do it easy

im assuming you can just build it as you would from the start. take the highest point of your farm, the slabs on the portals. and go up the 16 blocks once more. that is what I did and it works great

I had to add water pushing the golems into the portals because they spawning at the correct spot but very often just didnt teleport until you pushed them, does this mean i built something wrong. Also i was having problems with the rates sometimes being really slow.

also im fairly sure i followed all the steps correctly for the slabs and it seems like the back two villagers dont get effected by the zombie

the boxes are not aligned or the blocks are not spawn proofed to force them to spawn at correct spot or maybe your platforms are bigger than correct size

I have a few questions if anybody can help? 1. Where do I AFK for this farm, the overworld or the nether? 2. A lot of iron isn't being collected and is sitting next to the portals in the overworld, what is the fix for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can see the farm is highly efficient

At overworld in the middle of the farm make sure you placed the hopper minecarts correctly

It doesn't matter where you afk as long as the chunks where the farms are loaded. For the iron in the over world it's because the iron golems are dying to the lava as soon as they enter and their resources go back through the portal. To fix this you can place the lava further down, break the top blocks of the portal, and put a chicken in a boat in the center of the portal. That way the iron golems will get shoved out of the portal then fall down and die from the lava.

I built this farm, with the sticky piston and day detector like that comment said and golems still werent spawning during the day. I still have this problem with golems not spawning during the day and also the items from when the golems dies just disappear

I figured out that the 4 slabs facing the zombie were blocking the line of sight so replacing them with trapdoor fixes it. It only worked at night because the line of sight was made as they were going down to sleep for the night.

each platform will spawn 1 iron golem ( each portal ) it will be 16 iron golems in your case

Im sorry but when something needs to be built in detail you speed up. Thats just super annoying. Your build is not even consistent. In second 45 the slab on the head from the villagers is right on top of them but in other frames it is sitting one half block above
