Idea for additional farm and building that work seamlessly with one another. Add a vineyard, but ALSO ADD a hops farm. (like, for beer"). Hops farm could be as simple as this per plant: 2 leaf blocks, on top of it 1 fence block, and connecting each plant to a row being a series of connected fence blocks that connect to the plant on top of the plant's own fence block. The leaf blocks are the hops plant, the 1 fence connected to it is the stem, and the row of plants are connected by fences serving as a long horizontal stem connecting all hops plants into a specific row. Repeat rows for a hops farm. While the fence connecting all plants works better for a vineyard build as the plant used is a vine, actually hops in real life also require fences to grow next to, to keep from topping over. And so despite hops being bushes, this design in Minecraft should work just fine for it. A vine plant could be the same thing, but the plant is only one leaf block high. Connect a brewery to the hops farm and vineyard along the path, sell beer. BUT WANT TO KEEP IT KID FRIENDLY? I GOT YOU!! Get a load of this... There are low alcohol and 0.0 variants to beer that in many states in the USA even kids may legally consume. Technically, "Non-alcoholic" beer is that which has 0.05% or LESS percent alcohol. But in many states, "0.0" beers are legal for children above a certain age to consume, as they're COMPLETELY lacking any alcohol, but taste very similar to beer. Hence to keep the channel kid friendly you could sell "0.0 Mead" thus avoiding the addition of "alcohol" or "beer" if so desired to keep it kid friendly. In the fields you could prop orange wool onto a separate fence gate to create a beehive, and thus mead, made in part with help of bees, could also be sold at the shop.

NGL i kind of like how "simple" and down-to-earth it is, how you just read the comments and it's a small community and stuff, but eventually you're gonna have to consider creating one, because you're not gonna be able to read and reply to every comment, and I know i'm always gonna be in your heart as the #1 commenter/viewer, but im thinking of other people and you here you should name the dogs some cool names and build them an awesome dog house (maybe a doggie palace? with sheep in the courtyard?) or an even better idea, build it wherever you find the skeleton spawner, so the doggies always have lots of treats! if you're unhappy with the way the path turned out ( me too to be honest, you're right, it's way too direct and almost comedically obxious) you could just make it "loop" or "swirl" through the ruins that you wanna build. Maybe you can build some building that'd make sense? like a farm building ? horse stable or a metal working factory or like a fallen tower or something like that. Your idea with the windmill is really good I think it'd look dope also maybe you could plant wheat here and there along the path? make it look like the place has some life in there, and it'd also function as a farm :) the orange wool on the pumpkin patch is definitely tacky. If you position the pumpking right, they'll fill the entire patch, EASILY. Look up how normal pumpkin patches look like
