The ore texture is changed for color blind people, so each ore has a unique shape so you don’t need to know the color to see which is which

For those who dont know, one of the mojang developers is actually colourblind so they changed ore textures to make it easier to see what ores are which

I think they retextured the ores because it helps colorblind people somehow? But, you can always grab the normal textures and throw it in your texture pack or find one since I'm sure there will be a texture pack to bring it back to normal soon.

Suggestion for Minecraft: When Halloween hits make a Horror Update The update could consist: 1.New Mobs ( my suggestion is The Crawler its a mob that crawls at night if you didnt sleep for 2 days and doesnt burn during sunlight unless you you kill it with a weapon) 2. Weapons. (Add a new weapon/tool to kill mobs cooler) (My suggestion is a Blankord. Its a weapon that looks like like a blankie/blanket that can ONLY kill The Crawler it does like 8+ damage.) To craft the weapon you must need: 1. A diamond 2. Three carpets of any colour 3. A crawling seed 3.New Items. (Make a new plant called The Night plant.) (It is a plant that only grows at NIGHT or a dark place but it shines just a bit) (If you want the Crawling Seed you need to harvest the plant USING A HOE) 4.New blocks. (My suggestion is a block called Night Grass its a blue purple and black in colour. It is the only block that The Night Plant grows on)
