You can't edit a Command Block in survival, so that block wouldn't have done him much good

Do it again, but this time, you don't dupe items. Instead it changes when you pick it up. So you never know what you'll get, and you can clear your inventory.

You can't place command blocks in survival. Neither can you open to type your command, making it useless in survival mode

Fun fact! If your inventory is full and you can’t get a shulker box then take a donkey or a Llama and then attach a chest to them! Then you can take them with you!!!
