To add, usually it's a series of traps. For Daisy and Cherry, they have very obvious weaknesses (cookies and jam); Berry has his berry, and Sandra is just generally easy to catch.

This is the 36th video. Fun Fact: Etho's favorite food includes Crepes and Cheesesteak. This is also the first time Sandra appears with Barry and Cherri together. This reveals that Barry loves minigames though Daisy, Cherri and Sandra hate it.
