the only mistake i saw was you don't want to put a void upgrade on the wood storage crate, only the sapling crate should have one. reasoning: you want to ensure saplings don't fill up the planter/harvester combo and will empty out of the machines, but you do not require the planter/harvester to work overtime and void the planks or saplings they're getting when the storage is full, so DO NOT put a void upgrade on the wood-storage drawer (assuming it's isolated from a larger storage drawer network.

Honestly: Thank you so much for these videos. I haven’t seriously played modded Minecraft survival in probably a year 1/2+. I’ve wanted to get back into it, but I’ve always been so overwhelmed with the “new” stuff (since 1.7-1.10 was around when I stopped playing). These tutorials are helping me ease back into playing. Without knowing this, I probably would just craft a ton of coal generators or something and just use that until I can make an extreme reactor, with probably just mekanism wind generators in between. I never think of these types of power generation methods, and seeing how to make one of them just gets me all the more excited to start playing again.

You could also make grassoline out of the saplings. Needs some item work, but more power!

You forgot 1 method of producing power from spruce trees. There is a block in thermal that you can place next to the base of a grown spruce tree and extracts a fluid, which can then be turned into power. And you never have to chop the spruce down. Other then that a fine video, well explained.

Its not effective well, if you use magmatic dynamo, pump, ender tank, chunk loader, it will be almost free. I always using this method its so much effective. And if you should transport energy do another magmatic dynamo and put right in to them ender tank.
