Building the platform is the hardest part, not only is it easier to agro endermen in bedrock, the also get in the way as your building

Tip : Endermen are one hit if they fall 43 blocks, and they die at 44 blocks. So, you don't really need to count the rings and worry about how you do it as long as the spacing between each other does not exceed 2 blocks. Just add 43 to the Y level of the chute and then that's your threshold. For example, if you are in Y 67, the threshold is Y 110. You can keep on building rings until you reach Y 110 or close. Also fun fact if you don't have scaffolding you can use carpets and water buckets as a substitute.
