@@codycombs8590 I voted moobloom as, I like plants! :D I was alright with the Glow squid though. But I have to say that I would have been outright enraged if the Icologer won! So I'm just glad that didn't happen, but I was actually a bit confused when the Moobloom was the first out, gotta say; and how about you?

Good idea, would give the pumpkins and mob heads more utility.

Either that or maybe some usage with tinted glass. Perhaps placing it on your head like a pumpkin or making it into an item like glasses

Pumpkin doesn’t make sense. The glow squid doesn’t need to see you, you need to see it. However I agree that you could combine it with tinted glass to make a form of protection.

There should be a way to efficiently heal glow squid, to go along with such a feature. Like a type of cave kelp where glow squids hide when they get hit, that heals them.

Or, if you could tame them... weponised underwater army of doom...

Potion of Attraction If used on a player, mobs that look at the player will have increased follow range and attempt to stay within a certain radius of the player. If used on a mob, it acts as a distraction to other mobs around it.

if it applied to mobs i think it would have made really good farms (if it also made players and mobs sloely move to it too)

When i first saw the mob and video of it hypnotizing jeb, it instantly reminded me of that creature in Subnautica, and how cool it would be to actually see it in the main game, that's the only main reason why I even voted for the mod, not because of dream, and DEFINITELY not because I thought it would glow what?! But yeah they definitely false advertise and that's probably why most of the people voted for it, I'm quite disappointed...

@@ZaklyTheHatly Yeah, Mojang does a bad job at advertising. Take the biome vote, if they had said "major world gen changes" instead of "snowier snow", I would have voted for it. Thankfully, it ultimately didn't matter thanks to the sheer amount of people who voted for it because memes, and equally thankfully chest boats and frogs are only one update behind them.

God I despise the Icologer and thank my lucky stars every day it didn't win. MineCraft is a building game not a combat game. If Mojang wants to keep adding in combat stuff then they should rework Peaceful mode so it's actually playable in the long term.

@@Asocialite__ Actually I dont think minecraft is a building game, if it was just a building game not that many people would play it, the thing that made minecraft famous is that it has a mix of both, so the ones that want to express their creativity through building can build whatever they want, and those who want combat, exploring and killing things can try to beat the game ( of course they probably would add some mods to have more things to fight, but multiplayer is also really fun. ) Thats one of the reasons iceologer should have won, having more bosses and mini-bosses would be incredible for people who like pvp, since right now we only got 3 mini-bosses and 1 boss.

@@Asocialite__ I started playing Minecraft for it's "Survival" Mode. I remember building big castles with lava moats in an attempt to survive the night against hordes of undead zombies and skeletons. The combat isn't the most in depth but the combat stuff was part of the draw to the game for a lot of people.

@@Asocialite__ Aaaaand wrong. Minecraft is a sandbox game: a game with no requirements at all. That is what makes it special, if it had a strict story or none at all, it likely would not have performed anywhere near as well as it has. You want to build, then build. Don't try to tell anyone else that it's not a combat game, because that goes against the spirit of the sandbox genre. The point is, you can build, you can fight, you can explore, you can fly from village to village destroying them in as many different ways as you can. You can do whatever you prefer. TL;DR: the appeal of minecraft is that you can do whatever you prefer. Stop being a selfish prick, if you want to build without dealing with rare mobs, then turn off the mobspawn gamerule, or just do creative, the mode designed for building.

Yeah, a compilation of the tweak mods he's made (minus some of the joke portions like the axolotl love hypnosis, as those could get really obnoxious really quick). Then a Hardcore+ mod that includes stuff like the deadly xp and the snowmercies.

Could just nerf the hypnosis. Example: nothing on peaceful, weak on easy etc.

Or just have it happen to 75% of glow squids, The other 25% will be tagged as dysfunctional and won't be able to use hypnosis and then have levels for the effect (Easy=Hypnosis, Normal=Hypnosis II, Hard=Hypnosis III)

pvp isn't that strategic since you have to look at it, plus it'd be only useful in the water unless the effect carries onto land. The only thing I'd only see this being useful is if it was used in a parkor map as a gimmick of some sort

Actually? I think it could be used for potions or a item of some sorts where it stuns anything that looks at you, sorta like medusa's head but without the being turned into a statue for eternity. Could be used for some interesting plays like stunning players jumping at you over a gap.

Being able to glow dye leather would be rad. A group of folk in leather armor just raving out in their neon blacklight dance club. xD

You can dye signs and item frames, That's about it.

Honestly, being able to make wool and concrete glow like magma blocks would be nice, especially with the spawning change. And having blacklight armour would be sweet. Would be nice if it gave banners (and shields) a prismarine like texture.

Running with that last idea: prismatic lanterns. Crafted with 5 prismarine crystals and 4 glow sacks, it's a dyable light source. It still puts off normal light, but you can change the block's colour with dyes, and you can read it's colour with a comparator (using the old damage variable order).

that would be a cool feature for parkour, as they could make you look away from the parkour and memorize where to go, which would be really cool!

I didn’t even vote because Minecraft Live happened like 2AM where I live.

Didn't vote for a mob, but if I did would have been a glow squid because I really didn't care about the other mobs in it at all but the glow squid seemed cool.

Mods I deem good enough to be content mods I keep free, as it's still what I do for a hobby. Those I put behind supporting me are the ones I would never do if I didn't make videos, and therefore ones that wouldn't be available if I didn't chose to go KZfaq full time, which makes sense. Don't get fooled though, I had this idea for quite some time, and it'll eventually make its way to effective for free, just need to change a few things first.

@@doctor4t it's ok, i didn't write the comment just becouse i was "demanding" this mod or any of the other video mods for free, i wasn't being sarcastic, i like the way that you manage it, but with this context it makes much more sense now. Thanks for doing so much of this cool ideas a reality and keep going with what you like :)
