Answering your most asked questions! 1. If the corners of the bedroom cut into the other rooms while you're digging it out then it's because you haven't made the doorway to the bedroom 2 blocks thick (2:31). 2. To stop the water spilling into the base you need to have dug out a hole below it for the water to flow into. So stop the water flow, dig the hole directly below it (can be just one block lower) then let the water flow back down (0:53). 3. The floor plan shown at the start is the correct layout and measurements of the rooms. The plans shown in the corner when I'm digging the rooms out are from this plan, so are in the same directions as shown on there. For example, the farm room plan is placed so the entrance would be on your left if you were stood in the entry hall (the area that's extended out on this plan is the mine entrance). 4. The rooms are all about 4-5 blocks tall, I show how to build each wall section in the tutorial. 5. My texture pack is x32 Faithful and my shaders are BSL shaders. Please note that this was the first underground tutorial that I made on the channel, which is why I speak quite quickly and may not explain things perfectly. For some advice: Instead of exposing carpet, you can put the lighting under slabs, becuase they're both transparent blocks

(I think) supplies needed for all the decor shown! Please lmk if I'm off about any of the numbers. 141 misc logs 70 spruce logs 20 oak logs 114 stone 63 iron nuggets 61 books (61 leather, 183 paper) 2 diamonds 12 obsidian 8 pumpkins 6 light grey wool 30 clay 35 torches 1 ender eye 4 dead bushes 4 leaves 1 bed 6 sea pickles 11 lily pads I was looking for a list like this when I decided to build this so I figured I'd do the math and share it~ Misc logs means it doesnt matter what wood type it is because it wont affect the final outcome (mainly sticks and the bookshelves), some of the iron turns into nuggets for lanterns, etc. These are just the base materials you need to GATHER, they then split off into the different tiers needed for all the items.

I love how useable this is! I built another really nice-looking underground base but it turned out that all the details made it cramped and hard to use. I watch videos like this for inspiration rather than an intention of making the exact build. You always learn a thing or two. I bought this game in 2011 and never thought to put jack o lanterns under my farm water! Genius. Also the level of detail and straight forward directions along with the models down to the shapes of the rooms makes this probably among the highest quality presentations I’ve ever seen. You can’t imagine the number of times I’ve followed along other channel’s videos in the past and had to rewind over and over asking myself “now was it 9 or 10 wide” or just trying to count as someone flys through it. Truly exceptional content

its a custom flat world , on the java edition of minecraft (the version you play on pc) you can customize your flat worlds without any mods

an idea: since your a great builder i think you should make a survival lets play because it will bring more people to the channel and is more fun to watch. great video non the less. (world download?)

Hi spudetti, i was wondering how you find an exact amount of blocks for your build? Im trying to make tutorials myself, but I dont know how to get the exact amount of blocks.

I use world edit to find this out! What I do is I select the area that my build is in using the wand and then I type ‘//distr’ and it shows me the exact number of blocks within my build. Hope this helps :)
