Notes on this video: On the bathtub, you can swap out one of the slabs for a dispenser, fill it with water, and then use redstone to link it to a button. This enables you to fill and empty the tub at will. On the toilet, you simply must use a diamond helmet on the armor stand. Any other type of helmet would look crazy or disgusting.

Actually you can use an iron helmet or a dyed grey leather helmet to make it look empty

Quick tip: Enchanting the helmet makes it look like the water is moving.

I usually stick to medieval and never do modern, but saw the toilet and was intrigued to see how on earth anyone could pull that off while in vanilla minecraft. You sir/madam are a genius. Period.

This is a great video and really cool design! We are just learned to use minecraft...a few things we were not able to do 1) add the turtle eggs and cucumbers to the tub, 2) the white banners to the sink, any ideas how we can fix this?

for the toilet, u can add a birch trapdoor instead of a banner so when you press the button for the (imaginary) flush, it closes the lid for u automatically

Here is a challenge, a toilet that is not 2x2x1 meters and is more on scale with the player. There should be a mod that downscales blocks come to think of it. 0.5m blocks would be more convenient and solve all of the stair and slab and vertical slab needs.
