Structure blocks have been in minecraft since 1.9, but can be used to rotate, flip, mirror your builds in 1.10, 1.11, 1.12, 1.13, 1.14 and 1.15 as well. You can use the save and corner modes to save a build and then place it back down using the load mode. You can select the orientation of the build and if you want to flip it horizonally or vertically. If mcedit or bling edit doesn't work for a new minecraft version, this definitely will!

There was a way to repeat that!? I just spent an hour rotating a detailed tank build cause I didn’t know how to do it in vanilla. I searched for this video cause of the pain rebuilding that tank caused me

Awesome, this is going to be big help in my new building project that is going to be a some sort of redstone minigame in a big temple. But glad I made the backup file before pasting the big part of my project, when it went first 1x pixel wrong way, could have been worse to trying to fix that:D

Simple way is to just spawn it at 180° then do it again. Mirrors the same build on the other side if you’re doing things that need to be specific. Saves times

what if you want to flip it so that the green line rotates from vertical to horizontal?

Best option would be to put it flipped somewhere else first then delete the original build and then clone it back, can't really think of another way, sorry

is there a way you can rotate INSIDE of the boundary lines with a pre-existing building? without rotating the entire building out of place? if that makes sense...

You could clone it out of the way and then place it back rotated using the structure block

That's correct, in bedrock edition corner mode doesn't exist, you'll just have to adjust the area manually

Yes, that is possible, use the mirror option and make sure the boundaries of the structure block line up!
