In regards to the deepslate piston, I vaguely remember Mojang saying it didn’t work because they might make variants of the Redstone components made with deepslate in the future that would work slightly differently. People were theorising they might use it to finally achieve Redstone parity, for example deepslate pistons could work like bedrock pistons, and regular pistons would work like Java pistons

The reason every mob vote mob without fail has been "underwhelming" is not because the community votes for bad mobs, but because the mobs are not meant to add that much in the first place, so there's no reason to be so up in arms about getting the "right" mob, aka the one that's most useful at face value. And of course this goes for the copper bulb, too; it wasn't meant to be a feature because it wouldn't work in Bedrock, since the redstone is hard-coded to be on even gameticks. That isn't to say that Mojang shouldn't be subject to *any* scrutiny, though. The community is mad about mobs that lost, so why not add some of those in a smaller update? And though the community loves parity, they clearly dislike it getting in the way here, since 1-tick delays were already possible in Java anyway (but with clunkier setups).

6:00 This is something that happens when you go really far from the center of the world in Bedrock. Bands of blocks don't render, and some of the blocks that do get rendered, such as the redstone dust here, get stretched out.

To answer the shrodingers cat one, on bedrock there was/is (idk if it’s still around) a bug where if you had a mob splash damaged and healed at the same time when it was on half a heart, the mob would die, and then walk around while dead. If u relogged it would appear normal. It would also be impossible to kill. So that cat could be immortal.

That bug still exists in Java, it just can't be done in normal gameplay. But if you use, say server plugins to heal a mob after it dies but before it disappears, it'll go into that state.

For how Steve can hear lightning before he can see it, I think they are trying to say that there is no delay when lightning strikes. Usually when you see lightning, there is a couple seconds before the thunder sound reaches you. For Steve, regardless of how far away it is, he can hear it instantly.

I was thinking about the "piston out of deepslate thing" and came to a conclusion almost immediately. Things you can craft with DS: tools, furnace - stuff made for rough work Things you can't craft with it: redstone machinery (all of it: postons, droppers, observers..) - delicate and precise. Cobblestone is the only material that can make a piston for the exactly same reason why you can't craft a comparator out of cobblestone. . . Amongus

4:07 unfortunately, that’s not how it works. By observe we mean “have an effect on something else” which happens, since the amount of mobs that can spawn goes up by one if the cat dies but nothing happens if it doesn’t :(

I tried using a map in the Nether on Bedrock Edition, it only shows brown and grey in a pattern reminiscent of tv static. Also your player icon on the map constantly spins.

I really liked these! They look a lot nicer overall than the original one with the thicker handles. Much more room for detail. My favorites are the mangrove and bamboo ones ^^

I like the look of Mangrove, Spruce, Warped Fungus. Dark Oak, original Oak and the metal ones look the safest.
