Personally Steak, Porkchops, and Golden Carrots are the only good normal food items. Obviously gapples are good for combat, but cake and kelp do deserve an honorable mention for being able to refill your hunger bar faster in different conditions (cake for lag, kelp to optimally buffer saturation). Plus, suspicious stew is useful if you know what to put in it and chorus fruit has a ton of utility. I'll also give a shout out to sweet berries for being the fastest and easiest to farm. Fuck rabbit stew Btw; eating the individual ingredients is more nutritious than eating one bowl of rabbit stew.
