Regrowth, Guard villagers, the Christmas and Halloween mods (with serene seasons of course). And Villager names are like the godly combination for village atmosphere. All of them are minor but together do so well. Still wish there was a mod that made trading more fun, a marketplace with a bunch of traders would be amazing. Though sadly it's a far dream...

I started using "trade cycling", which is a really simple one. It just adds a button on the trading interface to refresh the trades of the villager (if its trades are't locked yet). Makes trading with villagers SO MUCH easier. And while transporting them is still painfull now you don't spend 20 minutes of suffering to get the villager to sell you mending. And becouse you still have to re-roll the trades it feels not cheaty- but that part is up to you 10/10 would recomend.

I've had this idea for a mod where "festivals" are a thing. Basically, if there are at least 3 nitwits in a village which will henceforth be renamed aristocrats, the village is eligible for "festivals." A wandering trader will spawn near a "festival block" during a holiday except its skin is based on the the holiday and so are the trades. A festival block will only spawn such if there are, like I said, at least 3 aristocrats, but each aristocrat beyond the first 3 will allow another festival block to spawn another trader. In addition to holidays that are based on minecraft days (eg. every multiple of 40), the player can also manually initiate a holiday. Putting an item into the festival block dictates the type of manual holiday, and right-clicking with a firework while there is an item inside will consume both to initiate the holiday and spawn the corresponding merchants.

@@Tarmin_ The Easy Villagers mod lets you pick up and transport villagers in item form by shift-right-clicking them. You can just scoop up an entire village's population into your inventory, then drop them in your trading hall. Then use Trade Cycling to get whatever you want out of them. The mod also has things like a Villager Breeder block that can store two villagers inside of it, then convert food directly into baby villager items. There's an Incubator that rapidly grows up baby villagers, an Iron Farm that keeps villagers inside of it and slowly generates iron ingots, a Zombifier that consumes golden apples and weakness potions to improve villager prices, and even an automated trading block that can store a villager and choose a specific one of its' trades, then accept resources, automatically trade them, and output the results via hoppers. Some of those might seem a little OP, so you can just not use them if you don't feel like it, or you could even disable their crafting recipes with a little work.

A great village structure datapack that I use is called Walls of conquest, It actually replaces most vanilla structures like end cities and woodland mansions. It's great, Highly reccomend it.

If you’re playing 1.12.2 I recommend the 3rd person mod + mo bends + dynamic crosshair

I just want to recommend an awesome mod, it's fabric but the creator says he's working on a forge version, it's called keybins galore, best mod for modpacks, it opens a radial menu when pressing a conflicting key, it's a mod that deserves more attention

Okay... here me out... that Zombie Textures pack + Better Darkness + that mod where torches burn out. Talk about terrifying. You're down deep in the caves, you just used your last torch, and it's about to go out when you hear zombies. Suddenly, your torch goes out, and you see glowing eyes in the dark. The eyes wobble closer, lurching at times... You have to get out of there, but you can't see your hand in front of your face. Dude... can you imagine??

What about Illagers+? A very underrated mob, it adds illager forts, castles, towers (different from outposts) and adds a lot more illagers while also being vanilla friendly. Also the guard villagers actually attack the new illagers.

From the deep dark abyss, a shiny metal object shines which the people of earth commonly refer to as a spatula, and due to the sun rays reflecting the sunlight from the spatula it appeared very shiny which piqued the interest of the princess and she bends towards it to have a closer look at it, but as soon as she does that, the old sorcerer screams "PRINCESS WATCH OUT!" and by his sudden scream the princess gets startled and accidentally touches the spatula, and as the spatula was straight out of the frying pan, it was intensely hot to touch, which makes the princess lose her balance and she falls into the abyss. She looks at the sorcerer from the corner of her eyes which instantly got watered up but the force of gravity waits for none and she completely disappears into the abyss. On the other end of the portal, Ihaan holding the other end of the spatula thinking where this bizarre-looking blackhole might lead to. After thinking for a while and not getting any visible answer he retracts back his spatula but as a buy one get one free combo, along with the spatula a pack of small melons came along with it, and before he could even register that image in his mind, the girl's elbow knock the melons out of Ihaan and both lay on the floor unconscious on top of each other. You should check out the BlockFront mod. It's a WW2 mod that is basically like Call of Duty/Battlefield and it is extremely immersive the animations are insane.

That mod which adds scaled difficulty to mobs really makes me want to try and make a mod idea that I've held for many months now, which is similar to what Improved Mobs does except it's taken to an entirely new level with possible progression
