Because all you do is aim and click. Definitely uses more brain for 1.19. Also there's a tier system and discord server for all the important games modes, and overall it has a close community. There's always hype when known creators and/or the most skilled players 1v1 each other. I think I changed your mind. If you still think 1.8 pvp was at its peak I'm welcome to have an open mind for you to convince me.

All of this makes the PvP take Ages Another alternative is that it takes 0.2seconds to kill because of crystals/anchors. And those done even deserve the word "pvp" If we take non maxed gear, 1.9+ pvp always favours the defender that in turn it leads to none of the sides trying to attack leading into 0 actions made TLDR: 1.9+ pvp battle is either too fast or takes ages to finish

End crystals only damage your lower hitboxes, so if you just dig one block down, you won’t take as much damage

It took me about 10 mins to learn with a friend teaching me. I proceeded to go on pvp legacy and wreck everyone at crystal pvp. It really isn't something that requires that much skill all it needs is the right position and the ability to click quickly

In minecraft bedrock it's easier with respawn anchors because you can silk touch them with glowstone in them and explode them faster

@@Cuewotted True, there was more nuance to it than seen on the surface, but it didn't take nearly as much critical thinking as current combat does. I personally prefer current combat to the ilder combat. It could use some improvements, and something like the most recent Better Combat mod comes to mind.

as someone who plays all modes on 1.8 and all modes on 1.9, and I will say that their is a lot more to 1.8 than you think. 1.8 is harder to get good at as there are hidden strats you have to learn, In fact, CPS doesn't help that much I have beaten leaderboard player with 5 CPS to their 20. While the skill ceiling is much higher, it is much easier than to get good at than 1.8. Just thought I would inform!
