Minecraft Relaxing 1.18 Longplay - Building a Cozy Cliffside Home (No Commentary)

In this relaxing longplay we peacefully explore the new 1.18 update and explore the big mountains and cliffs. Once we finish gathering resources we find a nice spot on a cliff by a large cave and build a small starter home.

The mountains and caves look great, but now I feel like Minecraft isn’t flat enough. It’s much harder to find a nice flat area to build, but when you do, you often have a lovely view of some mountains

you’re so much more responsible about gathering resources than i am, it’s soothing to watch! i’ve been trying to make runs where i get most everything i need the way you do but after chopping down a couple trees i just get so excited to build… lots of havoc running back and forth haha

haha oh i feel that and can definitely relate!! doing these longplays has def helped me become more structured with how i play and gather resources. but i still always end up with a disastrous inventory by the end of it 😭

I'm the complete opposite to You! I love to prep my hotbar with multiple axes and I cut down every tree or till all my axes are broken!! Haha love how eager you are to get on the build! ☺

This update is definitely going to change the way I play and build, but in a good way! Even exploring the new caves has been a challenge, it’s wild how big they are. But I’m getting so much inspiration from the new update it’s incredible!

I think playing 1.18 in 'Peaceful" is the way to go. I struggle with the Mobs in the caves.....I just want to build and create in those places....Nice Vid Sister.

@@FREdmaN1o7 I think moving around in the world from ground level keeps the awe factor in there. I play on a Realm in Java also.We go into the big cave together and protect eachother. I just think in single player mode it's more fun to me to play in peaceful or easy. To me the exploring in 1.18 kinda changes the game.....in a good way.

i think so too! the 1.18 update changed the game in a massive way. even during this longplay i found that i was approaching the way i play differently because you now have to learn how to traverse such massive terrain. it was really nice to be able to explore and figure out these new challenges without having to worry about mobs as well

@@InfiniteDrift the only sad thing is that in Bedrock you can’t set things on top of trapdoors (eg. Clay pots and lanterns). Other than that, it’s a perfect replica to yours.

i use bsl shaders!! the only settings i change are i turn off desaturation, bloom, and lens flare :) i also use jerms better leaves to make the trees look more organic

some ppl like the asmr aspect of it, like nature sounds n stuff, a bit more quiet, personally mc music makes me anxious sometimes but thats just me, love the music tho
