Im not gonna lie, i think this mod just added at least 10 years to Minecraft's relevance and lifespan, Its such a rare sight to see an old game look brand new again.

I should be impressed by the Minecraft render distance but instead I'm just impressed at your narration skills. I've always known you had a great voice, I never realized it could sound so good in this context tho c:

Tip, even if the source material in just 1080p 8bit, always upload minimum 1440p, preferably 4k, that way yt bumps up the bit rate and the video looks a lot more clean!

distant horizons needs to be added to the base game, i play on xbox and i wish i could experience this

It's seeing an entire alien world created by AI, it's no mans sky but with a 1:1 scale on the planet.

At first I thought it was an april fools joke to be honest, so poetic about just a basic mod. I played it on forge but only the older versions. These days modern vanilla runs at 10 fps max with 3 chunk load distance so I don't think I want to come back to it and the game as a whole. But that makes me wonder... Will you make a shakespearian poem on Create? That mod was quite a lot cooler. I have long forgotten the feeling of enjoying scale of minecraft, the pre-cave update world generation was quite samey, to the point I started noticing patters, almost structure-like generations of the world. What you showed it beautiful yes, it even made me smile when you walked on that bridge. But I feel even if I had a semi-tr- I mean rig capable of handling it, I still wouldn't call minecraft a game. It's a 3d editor and ever since 1.14 it's been going deeper in deeper into looks at the cost of gameplay. That's why I suggest you try Create

This in combination with the caves and cliffs part 2 has brought the joy of the game back for me. My favourite combo so far is DH2.0 + Comp Reimagined + Barebones Texture Pack. So glad the mod finally got proper Shader Support after years. Been using it with Optifine before

I love that mod I install il yesterteday and start new world and when i spawn i was like WOW its beatiful and start enjoing every second playing with DH and shaders

In a year or 2 this mod will be perfect when it isnt as buggy as it is still in very early development

Do some reasearch on youtube compression and bitrate. The bitrate just low enough to notice and it's a little distracting for those who are conscious of it. Other wise great video!

It is a game changer because you can now see rare features from a distance, making them less rare. What you might have never found or what might have taken 8 hours to find, can now be found right away if it's anywhere nearby.

I've tried this mod, but for some reason, I haven't been able to get it to work with the fabric version. Ipp probably just have to switch to forge. P.S How do you get tree leaves to look like that? I haven't found any shader or recource pack that makes the leaves on trees look like they do in your viseo.

What we need is to fully rebuild Minecraft and somehow support the current file system so everything works as if nothing happened. That should optimize it

Try voxy mod. It's even better than distant horizons. Better performance + even higher render distances

idk why but bliss shaders create all sorts of smearing issues for me pls help.

In the future I would upload it as a 1440p or 4k video. The actual resolution doesnt need to be that high but of I, the user chopse that option the compression will be almost non existent.

If it wasn't for Microsoft forcing people to make an account with them in order to play Minecraft I'd still be playing it to this day... Sadly I dropped it a few years ago... :\
