@@eyad1798 Agreed, but Minecraft Java Edition with Fabric Mod loader and 3 mods: Sodium, Lithium, Phosphor, probably beats Bedrock Edition's chunk loading if not performance. You can easily get over 800fps on most computers. On my bad laptop with a gtx 920mx gfx card I went from getting around 60fps to well over 200+ with max video settings, render distance 12, around 100+ mods, and on 1.16.5.

I know that feeling being stuck with an Ivy Bridge based laptop with out a dedicated GPU. Just happy the base game runs halfway decent most the time.

Here's the thing about shaders: Optifine is used to run them, Optifine overhauls a lot of rendering the game normally does. And improves performance a LOT. Minecraft has probably the worst rendering I've ever seen and optifine fixes all of it. Shaders also run better than the original game because of this. Shaders don't go on top of the original game, they tell the gpu how to render it. If you're really looking for performance, use optifine with the "Internal" Shader. Also adds fxaa which is something I'm surprised minecraft doesn't have yet.

Thanks for this list. I was using Astra Lex shader thinking it was light enough for my server, but although I get 160fps with it, my friend's PCs only got like 5. Hopefully they''ll be able to use one of these

he said he played on 1440p and not at 1080p or 720p like most people do so, cuz he was playing on 1440p his fps is lower. So if i he had played on 1080p he would have had almost 2 times the fps he had.

@@SHUTENSEPC not quite, all i7s are fairly high end - its like saying what engine does your car have - a v8 - even if its an ancient 30000000kg block of iron you know its gonna pack more of a punch than an anaemic 1 litre banger

One shader I would add to this list is makeup ultrafast. It has shadows, motion blur, godrays, depth of field and more, yet performs incredibly well. I had absolutely no lag playing at 10 chunks render distance on my GTX 650 with 4 gigs of ram. Just remember that I played with the modpack "fabulously optimized", so it might give you a bit worse performance, but it should still work.

Well he is playing it at 1440p which will be more taxing but on 1080p it probably runs at about over 100fps

A gtx 1080 is fairly in the medium range of Nvidia graphics cards. What I believe he meant by "run on almost anything" is that it's playable at 30 fps minimum. I personally use a rtx 2060 and get 1000 plus fps in vanilla so fps is not an issue

One thing about Optifine is that have in settings "Anisotropic filtering" turned off completely. Having this setting on the highest, medium or even bit low, it absolute destroys your FPS when you go near water most likely oceans. I came from 80 FPS by walking on normal terrian to where I go near water, it drops to 20 FPS.

@@nuhuh1615 csgo maps are small and is designed to get the most performance (fps and gameplay) on a competitive level while still maintaining a good look while minecraft isn't it need to render a shit ton loads of chunk because it's an open sandbox game with almost infinite generation of blocks so yeah if you go install shader and go make a custom world that is purely void it'd get you a shit ton of frames

Chocapic toaster edition works fine for me. from 80 fps to 30. Had to change the render distance to 8, but it is worth it!

Sildur's Enhanced Default (1:20) has to be my favorite for low end. It's not as distracting and it overall just blends well. The other's I'd rather play vanilla, they just seem too noticeable for low end. Like I can see all I'd want to be better, but Sildur's doesn't remind me how low end it is, it's just an improved default and not in your face

I will try this on my laptop Laptop : *TACTICAL NUKE INCOMING* Edit : My laptop just got 1-2 fps even on the lowest setting. 2nd edit : I finally upgrade my laptop to Asus M409DA - EK301T, it's more smoother and powerful than i have on my previous laptops. Not that powerful, but hey, it can still runs one of these shaders shown in the video pretty smoothly... Probably 30 fps. (Sorry for bad English).

Kiyokoツ I suggest to download Optifine and BetterFPS house are two mods that help your game work faster. My laptop is ass so I lower my settings and use those mods.

A toaster isn’t a good idea because you have to toast some bread to advance a frame; at least you had to on my old model. I personally prefer using a microwave (for a balance of controls and good FPS) or washer (for controls)

Sildurs enhanced default is just beautiful! I love how the water reflects, but as you get closer to it, the reflection dissapears. I personally LOVE that!

That's called Fresnel effect, it's based on the angle you're looking from. If you're looking from above, less reflection, if you're looking at a flatter angle, more reflection.
