Awesome, I would be perfectly fine with the way it is here. But you asked for suggestions so I have 2 suggestions. 1:You could add a variant of the shotgun called the blunderbus. It would shoot more pellets that would deal more damage in exchange for a cooldown between shots and a large amount of recoil. 2:A mob that would spawn rarely in the overworld or in a structure that would be able to use a shotgun. This mob should not have a lot of health and have a very short sight range to balance out the fact that it uses a shotgun. The design of the mob is completely up to you, but I personally would prefer it wouldn't be a player type mob, but again, the design is completely up to you and you alone. Alright, that's all I wanted to say. Take your time, don't stretch yourself thin, and have a good one.

You should make it so that bullets can have a chance to ricochet off of entities. And also the closer they are to a wall the higher the chance is. Maybe even have it be able to destroy glass and doors. Also a few more visual details in particles could help make it more polished. (5th edit: durability maybe?)

Looks fun! Personally, I might decrease the recoil felt when standing (or crouching, or just touching the ground) and then increase it a bit (compared to this footage) when airborne, but that's probably a bias on my part. The "grounded" recoil is fine as it is. I hope this can take enchantments like Knockback/Punch or Fire Aspect/Flame... Also, that super shotgun is LUDICROUS, that's beyond just 'super'...more like a hyper shotgun if you ask me!
