Umm when you go to a new act from when you finish one you have to use your rings to get in to the new act that’s why you lose rings when you start

U missed two of the chaos emeralds in green hill and chemical plant even if u look at where the chaos emeralds are in every zone u might not find them thats because if u see someone go to a spot in act 2 for example and finds a chaos emerald in a place u might not find it in act 2 of a level its all luck based but there gonna be in the same spot but maybe a different act for other people there are 3 levels and in each level there are 2 emeralds and the final emerald in at the end of eggman mode
