I already commented on OP1 time, and I spent over 20 minutes pointing out some of the funniest small details there, and I, uh, don't wanna do that again. BUT GODAMMIT THIS IS JUST AS FUNNY. And here are some of the fine details that make it so good too. The fact this mainly uses Season 2 characters is awesome, since OP1 was more focused on Season 1, so, OP2, Season 2. That concept gets even funnier thanks to the fact this OP is less about love, and instead about friends, and what was Season 2 about? Friends. That's what makes 0:33 so good, the fact that it shows Jesse's friends and then Romeo's (ex and/or dead) friends too, as well as Xara instead of Mio talking about the "love and friendship are different" parts. The part right after it's great too: In the original, everyone's in different areas, and here we have Jesse, Lukas, and Petra in each different place (as of Season 2's start). Like last time, Olivia mans the guns here around, Instead of Nakamura in the lab it's Jack in the treasure room, the start having Jesse and Romeo portrayed as 'best friends' when they're only friends depending on your choices and that's because you want to make him worthy of forgiveness, Jesse leaving his home and saying bye to Radar (like at the start, when he gears for adventure), the funky crow (which is actually a new species if you read farther in the manga) being the gauntlet, Sakamoto hitting the club thingy instead being Jesse mining stone in a QTE, Mai doing Mio's hair being Axel doing Olivia's (as she has the thingies on the sides of her hair like Mio), the tentacle at 0:33 now being that of the wither storm, 1:03 having Axel and Olivia cheer on Imposter Jesse (you can see his eyes go from red to normal) during Jessecon (which makes more sense, he can fly and their smiles look fake as they're forced to cheer him on), Stacy and Stampy getting brief mentions like they did in Season 2, holding Pumpkin Pie and Cake in reference to the small activity in episode 1 before joining Petra to the race, 1:11 being amazing because in the original he's shocked and in here Oxblood's shocked likely because of Jesse shaving Goeff (if you choose), and a ton more I didn't notice. Like last time, good job, and godammit I took 20 minutes again.
