Thank you frkle, I think having a picture in my head helps but I usually just go it. I always try to keep the house's at different levels, even if its only a block or two then work the roads in after, that way I get better ideas for the roads connections. 👍😀👍

Thank you so much Tony. If your trying to plan a village I would suggest not planning too much at once, planning to much can overload your thought process so do it in small parts. I normally like to start with building houses, so use some blocks to plan a shape where builds will go, but remember this can always change it's just a base shape for a rough layout. I like to keep houses fairly close to create a little bit of a cramped feel as it adds to the atmosphere. For the roads I like to add them in after I build a few houses so I can place them in right spot, it's easier to plan the roads when you have a few houses in place. So just have fun and don't overthink it, thinking too much will make it harder so just make a small plan and go it. I hope that helps buddy 😀👍😀

I was considering that but when I looked up Italian/Tuscan villages and they were very compact with buildings close together so that was the feel I was going for. I like the compact area though I think it feels more alive, there will be some areas where the buildings will be more spaced out though, as this is still a work in progress. But thanks for the feedback buddy :)
