For a video as long as this, everything should at least not be scripted. If you see his ladder clutch in the end, there was landing particles on the endstone but didn’t take damage. I guess he tried to convince us that he actually landed it by climbingonto the ladder when he fell.

Hey, baked. How about putting your friends in an obsidian prison but surround it the walls with observers so that if they try to escape, a bell will ring at your house and if they try to mine down, they'll die from fall damage. And a dropper above that'll give them food every morning and night. So, a trap they'll be in for an eternity.
