A beautiful day on the beach with the Minelab Manticore! What can I find at this new location?

It is surprising that with all the Aussie detectorists out there, not one so far has pulled out a round fifty cent coin that I am aware of, just the twelve sided ones, and the 5/10/20cents and 1 and 2 dollar coins apart from pre-decimals(?) At the rate you were going you would probably have more value in lead than coins. Interesting scenery Cheers Mate👍👍👍😎💨🏴☠☮☮🌈☮☮☕☕

Still on my bucket list. A friend of mine has found one, but they are quite rare. Probably because the majority of them went back to the banks and were melted down. Definitely find more lead than coins on the beaches most of the time, but occasionally I get lucky with a gold ring or an old silver coin!

Not much out there unfortunately, but a stunning beach. Thats how it goes sometimes. How are you finding the Manticore compared to the Equinox 800? There's about a £1000 gap between them in the uk now and wondered if you think it's worth the extra? Enjoy the vids mate, long may they continue. 🌟

Hey Phil! I’d have to say the manticore is definitely better on the beach and in the parks for those deep targets, however the Equinox 800 is not too far behind. The Manticore is also a much more temperamental machine due to its greater sensitivity, so it may not be for everyone. I’m still learning its traits after about 100 hours on it, but I’ve still got a long way to go…

@@coilsandcoinsdetecting Thanks for reply and your thoughts on Manticore. I mainly do beaches and well happy with the 800,so will stick with it for the time being. 👍
