Vanquish 440 is an awesome little machine... targets SOLID in the ground. 👍

Upgraded from my Garrett Euroace to a Vanquish 540, only been out with it once so far due to UK weather, but very impressed so far. Love how it collapses down for easy transport. Found the tiniest of silver buttons with it at about 10" down. So great potential. So much more confident about what is iron and what isn't, I was digging far too much with the Ace. The only thing I hate about it..... is the RED!!!!! Just as bad as the Garrett yellow!

Minelab, I love my Equinox, but for some reason I've gotten older over the past 3 years, it is now too heavy for me to swing more than 20 min. how about a lightweight Multi-IQ detector, similar to a competitor (XP)

Its just a shame the Vanquish isn't waterproof enough for UK beaches,cos it'd be a perfect tool.

After 10 months of experience, I do not recommend this device at all, the worst device in terms of quality that can be broken from the armor easily sensitive to moisture, it can be suspended from work at any moment. I am in a group of lovers of metal detector hobby, more than ten people. We bought the device at the beginning of last summer, half of the devices stopped working permanently

I have 3 minelab detectors, which I am extremely dissatisfied with- they have terrible discrimination! I have the gold monster, the Xterra 705, and a gofind44- the gofind44, is junk, literally junk- and the fact that to get the app for the Bluetooth connection is a separate cost is outrageous! If you buy the detector the app should be included- The gold monster is indeed a great machine, for it's purpose... God forbid though it be used at sight where there is trash of anykind- because it is unable to discriminate at ALL- The Xterra 705 which I realize is outdated, can not tell the difference between a penny and washer, constantly gives false alerts, even after ground balancing! I was thinking of upgrading to the new equinox, but have no reason to believe it's not another detector which can't tell a tin can from silver dollar???? My old Garret cxiii has better discrimination-
