I was really unsure about the xterra when I bought it. Then I got the v8x coil for it and it seems to do a little better on the vdi. I also have the same dr otek pinpointer and it works but I had the same falsing you have. I then got the XP Mi4 and wow is it a better pinpointer. I really enjoyed your video, I liked that you showed the reality of the hunt not just the good finds or relics. it’s awesome to see you get your daughter involved.

Thank you for the comment I will have to check out the XP Mi4 pinpointed, And the reality of the hunt is what I'm striving for. Many more videos to come keep a look out.

I started with 12 Sensitivity on the Xterra Pro and then when it was a little bit jumpy I knew it was a junk target and then when it came to a Coin Target you will know it and then I also have changed the -16 setup up to 20 , but the Xterra Pro is so easy to get to know what it's saying about the targets..... And I also watch "Diggin SoCal " and Christine also uses the Xterra Pro ... and also I have the All Metal Mode on Horseshoe button and Park 1 and 12 Sensitivity and then when it goes jumping it's really junk but good luck 🤞....

you are going way too fast and your sensitivity is too high//// back it down and go slowww and yes I have one and use it in extremely trashy areas on the Hudson river.. I love mine with the 5x8 coil

Thanks for the info I will have to drop the sensitivity down a little more. And you're right looking at the footage. I am sweeping a little to fast. The next investment is a smaller coil as I detect many junky areas. Many new videos coming. Thanks for watching
