OMG! Alvaro Lucio! I met him some years ago at Tucson and we had a wonderful connection. A few years after that, I was at a booth in Tucson and some people were behind me and I heard his voice and I knew immediately who it was!

Wow!! That private mineral collection was mind blowing! So many gorgeous pieces which all could belong in a museum! The story about his wife holding the rutile back home was very heart warming and I'm so curious to know more about how he acquired each piece! I bet he has a lot of wonderful stories to share!

I love that beautiful Imperial Topaz! I would’ve loved to buy a ring with it as the center stone for my late partner/husband. His favorite color was peach 🍑. And he loved warm colors, of orange 🍊 and gold and yellow. He would’ve LOVED a ring with the Imperial Topaz, and he was not a jewelry person. But I did buy him a ring with a Peridot in it and he loved it! I sure miss my Kenny 😢
