Minerva goddess

Minerva is the daughter of Jupiter and the goddess of wisdom, war, science and the arts, but also a protector of marriage and birth in Roman mythology. It is similar to the goddess Athena of Greek mythology.
The name Minerva may originate from the Indo-European men's root. However, in Etruscan mythology, which does not have Indo-European roots, there is also the deity of Menerva, so the name may have a completely different origin.
Minerva was worshiped throughout Italy, but only in Rome was worshiped as the deity of the war. It is usually depicted with a helmet and a shield. Minerva was worshiped on the hill of Capitol Hill with Jupiter and Yuen.

Jupiter Venus Mars, are all these gods and were they present in the Iliad story or they were just discussed and followed? Please answer this quickly as I have started reading illiad and now I am confused. Because if they are gods, I will have to get more knowledge before reading.

Almost all of Greek mythology (95%, more-or-less) was co-opted by the Romans; so in the Iliad, replace Athena with Minerva, and there you do. That's literally all the Romans did lol. Besides their founding myth with Romulus, that's it.

This is just ripped of from the book (Stories of Old Greece and Rome: by Emilie kip baker) this is the actual audiobook of Baker book. This LIBERBOX Recording even went with their narrator and all.... But like all audiobooks say liberbox recordings are public I believe. Just seems weird. This is just Chpt .5 or 6 of that book intitled Minerva.
