Tyler from @GildredRacing obsessed with making the meanest Mini monster on this or ANY side of the Mississippi, so he brought on Nathan to do some tinkering. They transmogrified this ’74 Mini Cooper Mk III by swapping in a J32 engine, bolting in a Rotrex supercharger, and tinkering for nigh on 10 years. The result? They fit 500 horses in there! If that ain’t mad enough they let motor maniac Micah take it for a spin. Will the tires survive???

Love this machine! The new crop of 200+ hp Minis & Fiat 500s & old Beetles..all gold! ..gotta run compact spares, or old dry rotted tires, aha. that skidpad is all rubber coated so the best plan is tires as hard as a 4 day old donut.

I've always loved Mini Coopers. As a tall guy at 6'7" (An ever two meters for our euro friends.) I have a fascination with small things. And by some miracle, I actually fit in those things. #DreamCar. The car is a sleeper. And then I could step out.

It's honestly amazing how much room is in these things. A family friend has a 68 mini cooper (a legit one) and I couldn't believe it. My biggest issue was width as my shoulder and the door were becoming intimate however

to begin with, this is not a Mini Cooper. Mini Coopers were made from 1961 to 1971 for the high-value Coopers, and from 1991 to the present. This Mini is from 1974 and therefore no Cooper. Minis are designed by Alec Issigonis to carry 4 adults. I have 2 Minis myself and a friend of mine who is 204 centimeters has enough space to sit normally. It always amazes me how little you Americans know about European cars. Now I have to admit that in Europe, many people also call every Mini a Mini Cooper. Every BMW is not an M and not every Mercedes is an AMG. The same goes for the Mini not every Mini is a Mini Cooper.
