I've had my MINI Cooper SE for a month and never knew about that compartment under the compartment under the boot floor. Thanks for showing me that! You complained about the Fiat spinning its front tires, but didn't mention how the MINI Cooper has superb traction-control that prevents wheel-spin on take-off--even in wet weather. The Fiat 500e takes 8 seconds to get to 60 mph vs a measured 6.2 seconds for the MINI Cooper SE. No contest there. Enjoy your SE!

Congrats on your new Mini! I've got mine about 3 weeks ago, same Signature Plus trim level in green. Love the video. Wish there were more of video like this for every trim level (e.g. Signature, Signature Plus and Iconic). Most videos out there are the Iconic trim, which came with a bunch of stuff that lower trims don't. Two reasons I went with the Signature plus trim was the Harmon Kardon Sound, the motorized folding mirrors (perhaps you can do a video on that). Yeah, the Mini Logo lighting is a pleasant surprise - No one had mentioned it, so I thought it was only going to be on the Iconic trim. One thing I missed was the lack of a auxiliary audio port. I know I can connect my phone to the car via Buetooth directly (which I do now), but I preferred my own handsfree kit that does the same thing via aux port that gives me a few extra buttons specifically to control the audio rather than having to switch menus.... Wish I had known that. Also, the EVSE that came with the car is only rated for 10A (I suppose because it that is more compatible). I've bought one rated at 16A so it charges over 50% faster on regular 110VAC - it works great. But I guess it depends on your socket's circuit rating and other devices you might have plugged into the wall on the same circuit - you wouldn't want to use a 16A-rated EVSE on a socket that's connected to a breaker that's only rated for 15A or lower, for example.

I've had my SE for 4 months now and still look forward to driving it every chance I get! Fast is an understatement. Too bad they didn't put the MINI logo light on the passenger side.

Well over here in the states you can pick up a 2018 or 2019 Fiat 500e for under 15k. The mini SE is about 38k that is a big difference in price. I go for the cheap Fiat 500 e instead.

How long does it take to charge on a normal 120V outlet? I don't have a level 2 in my home and am wondering if it's viable to just charge that way every night.
