These were all very close, and I think with the right line, the CR-24 would gain a few seconds. I will be doing more testing withe these, including a Mini Crawler Tug of War, and also will be testing the Axial SCX24.

I have a CR-24 and a SCX24. Even with the upgraded servo, ESC, and 2s LiPo, I can tell you that there is nothing the CR-24 does better than the SCX24 (even stock). No contest. So, this is a contest between the losers.

Well it would be if there was an SCX24 in the mix 😎. Anyway, i prefer the RGT V2 to the CR-24, much better motor/transfer box set up and more controlled crawling

I like your little crawler course for the mini crawlers, you have made good use of a small space. Be nice to see a few examples that are mainstream hobby shop as opposed to banggood specials, I tried to buy from them once and only once. I used a debit card and it was a nightmare. I don’t want a repeat of that so I’m stuck for looking on there for suitable micro, or mini vehicles. X

Hobby Plus is the winner - in crawling speed is not important. The others fell over way more.

That extra tire and cage is hindering the CG badly. I would keep it on anyway cause it looks better.

Yes, I've have tried them both with out bodies and the RGT is so much better with less weight up top

Not trying to be biased but I think you kinda wanted the cr-24 to lose you definitely wasn't using the crawler's equally. I know the cr-24 would have done alot better than what was shown here cause I purchased one for my son and I actually have been very impressed with it it was way more than I expected and it has been holding up very well I haven't had to do anything to it yet and he's been crawling with it for a few months and he plays with it alot.

The RGT V2: Take off the cage to reduce weight in the back, then put the spare on the hood, like an old Land Rover and voila, works a LOT better.
