These mini glass plant pots for the aquarium are really useful to grow plants emersed out of the water. They look great too!

On the long-term use lightweight soil, because the suction cups won't bear the wieght of the pebbles. I used crushed lava stone, that proved to be the best for this purpose. Another piece of advice is that dip the suction cup in really hot water before puting them on. That way you minimize the risk of breaking the glass. (I'd learned this after I broke mine.)

Would ADA aqua soil work, too? I have a couple of these pots in use for growing some hydrocotyle tripartita but would love trying out an emersed setup. Are there any plants other than echinodorus that would work?

I have some of these they are great for all kinds of things you can also get the same glass pots with lines cut out of the bottom to feed live food to the fish slowly and they look great as well

It’s just polycarbonate, double walled, you can buy it online from anywhere and specify dimensions

Yeah every couple of months depends how many plants you have. 3-6 months

hey, the wood in my aquarium is releasing tannin even after boiling it, What can i do to stop it?

Hello, tannins are fine and can be beneficial to your fish but if you really don’t want them then I’d just leave the wood in a bucket of water and change the water every so often until the wood is no longer releasing tannins.
