To whomever is reading this. To access sound/voice activated mode can be complicated, but I can break it down as easily as possible. The problem is right in-between the language within the instructions, and human patience. Step one: plug in headphones into device (along with connecting the adapter for the headphones to operate.) Step two: turn on device *light color should be red* Step three: enter "pause mode" by holding the play button on headphones. *device should be blinking slow red/blue now* Step four: press and hold play button again. *Device will blink slow, then into a fast blue.* Step five: turn device off and unplug device from headset. Step six: Turn device on for 1-2 seconds (shows consistant red.) Switch back off, then back on...quick! (Still shows red, for about 5-6 seconds then it will flash blue) This confirms sound activated mode enabled. Unfortunately with some models, you'll have to repeat this whole process if you review your files off a computer or after charging it. Just remember: if in doubt, when you first turn the device on, wait the 5 or 6 second light pause to end... If it blinks red, you are in record mode. If it blinks blue, your in sound/voice activated mode. Hope this helps guys/gals

I got mine to work but now it’s just solid red light what’s that mean it does not go off even if I move the switch to the off position ?

@@craigh9112 its not turning off by the manual switch whatsoever? Hmmm. I've never seen that, it could meen the memory is full maybe? But I would assume it's Most likely defective. What I would try to do. Is switch it to the off position (even if it stays on) Hook it up to a desk top and erase any and all recordings from the file. If its defective though, and stay "on" while hooking it up to the computer, then accessing the files may be impossible. Then it would be defective. But if you can erase the recorded files. Unplug, Try to Charge it. That may help. but again, I've never had that with any of mine and I own 4.

@@craigh9112 does the device get hot? If so be careful. I remember reading somewhere like 2-3 years ago that there were some knockoffs that were defective that came out of Guam or Vietnam that wernt so much starting fires, but smoking and causing hazards. Similar to a defective ecig. Granted, this was years ago, but doing the research might reveal your device having a recall. But again, I've never had this issue. Be careful and I hope this helps broham. Goodluck with your device.

Yes, it is good, but if you don't want to be noticed you have to use a USB stick voice recorder. You can place it easily anywhere.

you should correct the info. this is not voice activated recording. only recording on 5 hours files . but voice activated cant be set

It is voice activated. But you have to turn the feature on through a process. Please see my comment posted on the video on how to actually do it. Follow the six steps exactly. And you can achieve the voice activated function. It just can be a bit tedious.

I was told light turns blue when fully charge. I charged mine over night about 9 hours and the red light still on. Last time charged for 4 hours light turned blue. Now red light stays on when charging and not charging. Mines def defective

i have recently bought one of these but cant figure out how to set voice activated recording mode - instructions say - as is shown in this video. 'do not plug in headphones. after turning on, and turn it back on (flashing a few blue lights) is the voice activated recording.' that makes no sence to me, after turning on, and back on????? how do you turn on something thats already on? also i cant set time on mine as there is no set time file when connected to a computer? which the instructions show there should be???

I got the blue light to come on suggesting voice activated mode, but it just records continously???? this isint voice activated at all - im returning mine for refund waste of a day

I got mine to switch! TRY THIS: plug in the adapter with the headphones. Turn on the unit till you hear music. Press middle M button untill it pauses (see red and blue flashing). Turn off unit. Remove adapter with headphones. Turn unit back on. It will display a solid red light for a few seconds, THEN it will flash a few times and go off. The unit is now recording in by voice activation. it will stay in this mode until you repeat the above which will turn it back to full recording.
