Aw little dinky boy looks so handsome with his clip! He is a lush colour underneath all that fluffy fluffy coat. And he stood so well. He was such a good boy especially for being a young one and only about his second clip his hair all plaited back kind of makes him looks like a foal again who does not like a good dose of Dinksy and I definitely think Emily and yourself should do some in hand shows with him he will love it and maybe you could even do in hand with Banksy and Lola and Sprite just to mix it up but when he was doing zoomies around the field as well buck a rooing it makes my heart happy to watch because that’s when you know he is happy so thank you for this

No need for teddy bears when you have a lil fluffy Dinks to hug & love & hug some more! 😍😍 😍 You both did an amazing job at clipping such a thick, fluffy coat! I struggle to get neat lines on my fluff ball cob over winter, so I feel your pain there, along with your pride when the facial lines (or lines in general) come out nice, straight & even 😂 It is so much more of a challenge on fluff bums! Dinks highlights are gorgeous! They looked awesome with his mane plaited up nicely. Great spirit ladies. I've just arrived Yeehaaa . First time equine mom here, got a lil colt weanling. Rather thick coat nd dusty. Not sure when to do bath nor clip. It's freezing here in Nottm!! So... Waiting for registration form..doing worm count nxt week.. Nothad him a week yet and naming him for his papers; is a task n alf. No Internet bck in the day, so WoooP for improved support nd ideas.

I have to say you really suit that Santa hat. Dinks must feel so much better, he looks so cute with his plaited mane and he's got such a lovely face without his forelock, he would look just like a reindeer if you put his antlers on. I've got a pony with Cushing's, last time I clipped her the clippers couldn't cope so had to use my sheep shearing shears. Not the best look 🙄.

For showing he would need to be fully natural, just tidy up the mane so it’s all on the same side but don’t cut and with the tail cut the end so it’s tidy and with the top just brush and slightly tail rake it to make it look neat. Keep feathers natural ect, hope this helps x

He was a good boy standing up for you while he was being clipped. He is too nice not to be shown really. It would be a good day out for everyone as well as a vlog. To show him ( well under our rules ) he will need a little coat for color. Long tail, mane and feathers and a show halter with brow band. Walk him out to judge and stand him up in line there is no trot or movement judgement like the minature horses... Dinks time to shine.

I know that you have said that Dinks is a companion pony for Banksy, but have you ever wondered how Dinks feels when Banksy goes out on his hacks and various trips to events etc? 🤔 Personally, I would like to see Dinks have more of a purpose other than being the gorgeous companion pony that he is... I would love to see you and/or Emily do more with Dinks... It would be so cool... As and when you'd like to fit it in... 😊🐎🐴
