Every city has areas that groups live in... South Calgary in Midnapore has lots of Filipino Canadians, areas in NE can lots of South Asian (India, Pakistan, etc.)... It's a diverse city. I'm not sure how there was any "Western Heritage" in Calgary. Very few people in Calgary were born here... It's a community of immigrants and dreamers at its core. These "Western Heritage" types and "Old Stock Canadians" are all immigrants too... They just predate newer immigrants. If you want to immigrate to South Asia with tons of people and start a community, nothing is stopping you, bud. 👍 That's literally what colonialism was... Haha

@@cschwehr you realize heritage is past history and where the city itself came from not the people's heritage you dunce. Calgary has a rich western history that this city used to care about but the only time you would know it anymore is seeing the stampede. There used to be pieces of western history scattered through out the city but it has all been changed or taken down.

Do a program which provide co-op that helps a lot. My suggestion is go for ux design studies if you find that job is always on hiring

If you donot like their culture don't go there , its not fair going to a country to make a Punjab there. If you are so attached to that stay in Punjab I would suggest.

That is exactly what's going on there, this guy trys to make it sound OK but in reality it's a horrible part of calgary. Out of control gangs and gun fights. High speed chases that kill innocent calgary citizens, drug dealing everywhere in the NE part of Calgary. These people destroy every neighborhood they move into, it's time they start staying in there own country.

Illegal suites and unkempt properties everywhere....just doing what they do best
