Version 3.0 of my pocket survival kit. Now known as a “Mini” survival kit since it no longer fits in a pocket!
I have been a huge fan of Maxpeditions line if organization packs and pouches but I think I may have found a new favorite. i had never bought a Vanquest organizer because the pricing tends to be a bit steeper than the Maxpedition. I finally decided to pull the trigger and I immediately realized that the price difference was well worth it. The Vanquest FTIM (Fast Totally Integrated Maximizer) 5x7 Maximizer is amazing. The build quality and storage capabilities are top notch! I loved it so much that I had to build a kit in it straight away!

How the world has changed, our first packable is GermX. 5 years ago I would have not considered it essential, maybe a small oap bar, but today is like ZombieLand...Good stuff.

Nice kit! you've got alot covered in this video! Gray is a nice color. I love these kits and have i think 4 or 5 now? im off to buy my 6th soon as I love making survival / edc kits. Thanks for the video. As a suggestion i'd remove the hard plastic cover for med kit and put it in a ziplock bag so you can fit more in the kit. You can even slip it in the front pouch for fast access if you need a quick fix on a boo boo injury. thats how I have mine setup. I also carry toliet paper as a multi use item in mine. I like how you have a glow stick. i've got to get a few of those for my kits and you reminded me. You can see some of my edc bags on the channel as well. good luck and be well.

Nice kit, you did a great job. Looks like nice pouch, I would maybe add some pieces of fat wood to go with a ferro rod. I recently bought some at Home Depot, 4 pound bag for under $7, It is good fat wood.

Great pack. I very rarely see packs that cover protection for the senses. Eye protection, ear plugs, gloves. Too me those are the first things I need in an emergency. People don't realise how loud things can get when SHTF. Especially in urban setting. Also I didn't see a silcock key, I'm sure you have one though.

Definitely will add eye protection and a silcock key. I dont like earplugs though. I feel like they could do more damage than good if you were in a situation where you needed to be aware of your surroundings.

@@NEP_Chris You can actually get noise reduction rather than nose blocking. I can't remember what they are called but musicians use them in concerts.

A nice tip - Wrap tape around a hot glue stick - Can use them for patching stuff and gluing stuff down! Can heat em up with flame :)

You could put a few of the Wysi wipe compressed towels that are the size of 2 nickels in for TP, and maybe a couple of the water pouches and maybe a Granola bar?

One can never have enough tape in the bags. But you need more glowsticks for if you find a random rave

Excellent kit. I like this bag better than maxpedition too. Surprised no cliff or other energy bar or spare face mask to protect your airway? No silcox key? I will subscribe since this is intriguing. Please tell me what kind of survival situation you are geared for… More rural or urban? Thank you for sharing.
