Hijet Climber Mini-truck, this one is a 1992, 7th Gen, S83P, 660cc Minitruck. The “climber” means it has rear axle lock.
Researching online I did find l lot of new information, but Amir explains a LOT more than I knew, he has been in the business for 15 years. Plus if Bubbles in Trailer Park Boys has one, it HAS to be cool!
Don't forget you're buying a used vehicle, check it all out, they're over 25 years old! Some are in much better shape than others. Check for leaks, CV boots ripped, Loose suspension, Clutch slippage, clunks etc. Just like any used vehicle

At 3:43 I was triggered! Freedoms Safest Place. At 4:33 another deplorable spotted in that back window. Another faithful follower with the armband at 6:09. Smells LIKE FREEDOM! My mini truck arrives on Monday from Japan. So far it has been super easy to buy. If the picking up at the port goes as easy as I'm told it will. This purchase will have been easier than dealing with a car lot. At about half the cost of the importer. We have the same guys selling minis here in Washington as you do. Same boat trip it goes around the world through the Panama canal about every month. I thought you were up in the Bernie zone? I'm not feeling the burn in these videos. Who the heck has a toe gauge? That must be 50 years old. Well played!

I used to do the strings too, found it's more accurate to keep all 4 wheels on the ground

Whenever I bend a tie rod and bend it back straight-ish again I find I can get close enough with a tape measure from the inside rim to inside rim. But then that's only on rigs that are just gonna go out and bend it again, not really trying to cruise straight down the highway and for sure not trying too hard to keep even tire wear. Tractor mostly.

Oh, nice tool. I have something...similar, unnamed brand (possibly shop made) but the unpleasant part is that i have to take the tires off, it rests on the face of the rotors. Quite precise, i rebuilt the front of a Ford Escort a few years back, and managed to get a prelim alignment that was within 10%, the bloke at the alignment shop let me go for free :))

You have to get used to the looks, and questions. Same thing happens when I take my '90 CUSHMAN GT1 out to cruise or do some work around the property.🙂 Neighbors cross the road were having a yard sale last summer at the same time my wife was having a jewelry sale. I was cleaning out my garage, so the GT1 was parked out front. More people stopped to check it out, and ask questions than stopped for both sales. I never did get the garage finished. 🤗

What's up, Mini Truck/Moto?! Wondering if you or your subscribers can help a fellow mini owner out. I have a 1995 Honda Acty TOWN (Automatic 2WD) HA3. I had a 2" lift kit installed by a place that specializes in mini trucks and JDM in Jersey (not Boeki, sorry Amir!), then transported down to TX. The lift was not installed with a camber adjustment plate at all. I've read every post I can find online (mini truck forums and Facebook groups) and every video on KZfaq, but none show how to adjust camber at all. My front-right wheel is WAY off at +3.6 degrees camber. Every other wheel is in spec (front-left is +0.9). I'm wondering if the delivery people may have tied down too tight through the wheels and bent something (unlikely, but not impossible), but figured I'd try adjust camber myself. Your guidance would be much appreciated! Thanks.

The right wheel is always off worse because shorter axle, you need the adjuster plates, a flat place to park and use a square to get the camber perfect. You'll probably need to align 8t again too sadly.

@@MotoCheez Thanks for the quick reply! I wonder how the place I bought it from was able to align it without the camber adjustment plates installed. Voodoo magic. Is there no other way if there aren't adjustment plates atop the lift kit spacer?

You can align it, but camber off. Once you pull the tops in it will throw alignment back off

Please do not end it yet. Please import Daihatsu Atrai Turbo from Japan as parts. And if you swap the engine and ECU, you get 64 HP. Improve intake and exhaust and get 80 hp in ECU settings. In Japan, the 2000s Atrai is less than $ 1000. Please consult with Amir. I think that one Atrai becomes garbage, but it is interesting.

It is 4 × 4. It is 5MT turbo. I'm sorry I do not know in detail. Maybe the driveline will use Hijet's stuff. I think I can use the air conditioner automatic window and keyless entry.
