Encase it wasn't clear enough, I will be doing a draw through setup. The carburetor will only see vaccum, from the spinning turbine blade and engine. Many drag cars actually used a Carburator/turbo setup. Hope y'all enjoy

Make sure you give the carb some distance from the turbo or you could boil the bowl.

Try to keep the distance/volume between the carb and the actual intake of the engine as small as possible. It makes it run much better

Those are ok, but I scored a 24hp scratch and dent new Briggs for 740 shipped to my door. All it had scratched and dented was the air filter element. And I can get parts for em anywhere. Was well worth the 50$ more than a predator imo.

You asked for my thoughts so I ll give them to you. Oil in the turbo without oil pressure and you reving it equals fried bearings really fast. What is it with people thinking that its not the oil pressure that keeps the bearings floating and removes heat from them? Don't do questionable stuff like that. Also depending on the 2 cylinder engine and when the valves for each cylinder open and close, you may need an air capacitor after the turbo to act like a boost reservoir or the thing will not even function properly. When you put an oil feed on the turbo, go for the highest pressure oil pump you can get and make sure your oil drain is as big as possible, people think that they need to limit the oil pressure to the turbo when in reality you can put as much oil pressure as the drain allows to flow back out of it. The higher the pressure the better, just dont overdo it and cause the seals to leak.

I think you're on the right track, don't even think to turn away, I've built many Harley engines, as well as quite a few others, been doing it more than fifty years. You have done more for power than I could ever do for the same money, on "a real engine". That one's just fine, I'm looking at turning a B&S vertical into a horizontal, just because I've got one laying around, and looking to a similar project, for a bike. Thanks for showing these, I've been watching you through from the beginning of this engine. I'm also watching a build with a supercharger, and believe for your purpose, you've got it going right. Thanks for showing this, excellent welding, sound engineering, and far cheaper than "name brand ways". Thanks again.

I would add some additional reinforcement from the turbo flange to the engine- you really don't want it moving around at all because it's very hard on the bushing and impellers. Under sustained high speed vibration the impeller shaft will either bend or round out the bushings, something you don't want to happen. And I just realized that's the catch can lines not feed lines to the turbo. RIP bushings, they're going to blow oil when you actually pressurize them.

This may turn out very awesome. When you removed the filters there was a bit of blow back through the carbs ,so I think there's plenty of fuel and compression to use that turbo easily.I think you can make a small'charge tank'between the turbo and carb and it should be enough.Rock on Vasily.

I did a draw thru setup with a Garrett GT20 on my Rhino 660. People are very convinced that carbureted and single cylinder engines both cannot be successfully boosted, however I have the thing running mint. I think you will be able to make the V twin run pretty well. You might need to get a wideband gauge to at least just use temporarily for tuning. My low speed jetting is only up 1 or 2 sizes from what normal mods call for, however my high speed jet is at 6 or 8 sizes more than normal to keep a safe afr under boost and not bog. Interested to see what happens
