This was my first time doing twists, so this video was really helpful! I did smaller twists, so it took me just under 5 hours to do. It's was worth it, though

I just did twists on my hair and it was the first time. It came out ok. But I'm gonna keep it twisted for 4 days. Then im gonna try again and hopefully it would come out better.

my origin is black and one day im gonna start to learn how to twist my hair my mom does it a lot after she washes it sometimes she blow dry it out cause some parts of my hair is really frizzy when its wet or when trying to dry and it gets tangled and also I have a lot of hair so idk what my hair texture is I have full head of curly hair but im guessing its 3A cause it curls up when its wet and idk how it looks when it drys

So beautiful!! I’m wondering how you keep the end curls fresh? Mine flatten when I sleep, even if I pineapple. Do you have to freshen them daily?

Hey! I probably freshen them every other day. I just add water to reactivate the product and that’s it! Hope this helps ❤️

On the parting, I would put a heavy gel. And on the ends so it doesn’t unravel. Wrap your hair in a silk scarf after mousing the top of the head. Every night scarf it up and then put a bonnet. Over kill yeah. But hey. It’s better than doing this every week. Then. Touch up where you see unravel or frizz. It should be quick if it’s your natural hair. I am about to do this with passion twist hair. I want it to last a month. I hope it does. I have 3c/3b hair.

This style is to protect 3A curly hair and if that is your hair type I think it is OK to try it out. It is just important to know, respect, and recognize that most braided or twisted styles come from black origins. And I think you are already doing that by asking. Hope this helps

Can i use a regular conditioner ? And couconut oil?

Yes you can, i would use a conditioner that is silicone free to prevent build-up.

Hi Rina! I would make sure that your hair is damp before you twist, I would also make sure that you were finger curling the ends in the opposite direction of your twist. If those tips don’t work, you can always use hair rubber bands that are your hair color and then finger curl the ends of your hair. Hope this helps ❤️❤️

It’s only offensive, when you don’t acknowledge the issues black people face with their hairstyles. However, you’re African. You’re ancestors braided/twisted. Good luck.

Silk scarf with applied mousse over the top of the head. Then put everything in a bonnet. Or you can change your pillow case to a satin one. Good luck

you should try staggering the parts, that would give it more volume. It could look cute, very 90s on shorter hair.
