It’s been a year and a half since I bought my Integra, and I began using it as a daily shortly after. It’s got its ups and downs, but like any other Honda I’ve ever owned, it’s reliable and keeps going. Check out my earlier video on this if you want to see more.

I vividly remember going with my father to buy a new Integra in 1988. It was light metallic blue with a manual transmission. My mother had a sedan Integra in I think 1990. My brothers first car was a 1992 Integra coupe. My first car was a 1993 Integra coupe, until I moved on to a 1995 (the next gen) Integra 😂 Needless to say these are great cars and they treated my family well. That was my sentiment exactly. The egr problem caused me to constantly drop it into 3rd and floor it just to maintain 60mph. I think all that excess force over 2 years killed it. It hurt to see it go but luckily number 2 is on standby. I'll find another for sure.

I agree 100%, but it all depends on the problems you face. A simple o2 sensor replacement on the Legend took me more hours than I care to admit. Truth is if you get a car that's known to be reliable, or at least easy to fix, and you get one that's been treated well, the experience is almost always a good one. Just need to do your research first. Keep looking for an 03 Mustang GT, they're out there, but it might be more of a project than what you're looking for based on my quick searched. Not gonna lie, kinda want the engine to go so I have an excuse to put something else in. Another 30hp would do the car a lot of justice. Amazing what a splash of color can do for an old car, I even look back at it after I park it. Luckily I'm the 3rd owner but the previous owner changed the headlights and I have some weird issues because of the jdm lights. Cruise doesn't work and I think it's because he stole some wiring for them to work, and my high beams are always on so I feel like a big a-hole at night.

Exhaust on it is a little janky but I plan on fixing or replacing it. My gripe is the dashboard rattle on it. It's really there until higher RPMs and it only has 137k miles. It's an interesting car and I like it.

If it's mechanically sound, you have a good base to start with there. Is that a gsr motor then? All my car needs is another 10-15hp and it sounds like you got that. I had a similar exhaust issue, besides it being embarrassing, it would hit all over the bottom of the car. Sending some wild sounds through cabin, I couldn't take it. I also have a crazy rattle on my dash at idle but I thought my idle was off a hundred or so rpms. The second I'm on the throttle, it stops. If you get solid suspension, you'll love it, but maybe not above 60mph.

In search of another one because I I dogged mines to 260,000 with stock catalytic converter barely passing every 2 years. Brakes. We're great with the ABS on a GS but drove it over 100mph countless times and redline to open up consistently from 91 to 2003 wish I kept it! Best coupe I ever owned never gave me problems from long and short strips! Good video open it up and not granny shift that gem. Likes driven hard n check oil occasionally!

Man, I bought a new 93 RS back in the days. It didn't even have a radio, but it did have air and 5 speed. I traded it in years later with 115,000 miles. It had original clutch, and the front brakes were half worn, rear brakes was 90%. I have owned Honda made ever since. I have been searching for a 90 - 93 Integra but never found a nice one.

Looking forward to the end of COVID so we can get to filming part 2 with the other Viper, and maybe even get you into one of my videos. Think all ALTEK fans would love seeing you get your butt kicked in the gym after a proper drive in the Viper. 🏎💨🏋🏻‍♂️👍

I bought and picked up, for a friend, a 1995 Rover 620 in Manchester, England a few weeks ago and was very surprised to find a Honda engine inside. Turns out that Rover and Honda worked on it together as Rover wasn't doing well financially. It was a red car and looks so similar to the Integra of this generation. At least to me it does.

Nice car, my family had a 91 Integra that was purchased from the original owner for $900 around 2000. My dad drove it many years, and I remember random people trying to buy it from him. Unfortunately, it met it's end a few years before I was able to drive it when a truck hit it doing a u turn on the Thruway.

Damn you even got the armrest! My DA and most others don't have any :'(, also if you really do daily it that often, I'd suggest heading over to NaytonTech, they have a cupholder that replaces the compartment under the radio, and it works perfectly for me.

Ha, the previous owner put that in and i didn't know how useful it was until i took it out to fix the ebrake (which i then realized i didn't need to do that to get to it). One 10 minute drive and i pulled over to throw it back in. It's amazing how much it makes the drive comfortable. Thanks for the cup holder suggestion. I've purposely avoided that one because i figured it would just cover the screen of my head unit. I know it blocks the buttons on my fathers 95 Integra, and it's surprisingly annoying. Just did the front brakes and calipers also, besides some rotor noise i have to address, this baby is running like a champ! Thanks for watching!

Classic car insurance is just the best. It should be how much insurance costs anyways. Buying an old Honda then paying the worth of it every year just to insure it is downright stupid.
