Great job Scott! I agree with the mixing especially when you are highlighting. I literally have 1 pot of grey (Eshin Grey) for my Deathwatch and I just add white to what I have in my wet palette when I'm on my second highlight pass.

These were my brother's army in ouur 2e/3e days against my Spikey Black Legionnaires I hated facing them b/c of their huge amount of busted rules. Five terminators with ass cannons in a 500 pt game? Yup, SW can do that. Regardless; the -sculpts- for SW minis are fantastic as hell with huge amounts of detail.

Another awesome video. Yours is my favorite warhammer/mini channel on KZfaq by a long shot. I really appreciate your style, presentation, and content. The only thing I preferred more about your old channel is how you calmly encouraged to Paint More Minis rather than the new Satan Death Howl version. It just got stressful after a while and I find myself racing to stop the video before that part happens. A small complaint, however, and overall your channel is continually getting better and better. Great work!

Something I tried recently was to use a fine pen to do panel lining, it honestly worked really great but I'm concerned it'll smudge in the future. Perhaps sealing everything in a varnish would make it better.

Hey Scott. Have you tried the Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color product for your panel lining? If not, you should definitely give it a shot. IME, the black dries darker than Nuln Oil and would really speed up that panel lining step.

i do my eyes first over the base coat. i paint them as vertical stripes. then trim to size horizontally with my base flesh tone. this way i always get even eyes looking in the same direction lol. in larger scales, adding an extra stripe gives you colored eyes. a simple thing that works for me.

Abaddon black you are using mixed with water and layter rub surface with cloth to remove it from surfaces, its diffrent technicue and much better than wash. But allso much harder and you need to know what are you gona do with it. For example leaving dark spaces as shadow under model.

Nice job. I've been building models for years, off and on (not age myself but about 30+). I've only done it for my own pleasure but recently, since an old injury from the Corps has come back to haunt me with a vengeance, I've picked it back up with the intent to try to make money. It's fun but didn't expect the learning curve to be so steep. Watching your videos and others have been both helpful and inspirational. I'm working on layering and having to remind myself constantly to trust the process. Just sucks cause I haven't sold anything yet. I've made and listed a 7pc wall set, and listing today a hills & bunker set and made a 10pc asteroid set for X-Wing for my brother (he was elated. He said "holy crap dude, this is awesome, you can't give me this, sell it". A local shop really liked the walls but I guess not enough to order. So I guess what I'm getting at is it just hard to get started in this industry? I'm offering terrain, dioramas, vignettes and assembly & finishing service. Do I just need to be patient? Or is the industry so flooded, I should just move on? Any way, thanks for all the videos.

Gryphon Arms USA if you're trying to list things on eBay, I would say you'd have very little luck finding buyers that are willing to pay enough to make it worth your time. Same can also be said for local people. The reality of commisions are that most people play games, and those people who are looking for commissions are looking for super cheap ones. So unless you can paint incredibly quickly, it is rarely ever worth your time. The best way I've found to land commisions where you get paid what you deserve and can pay what you want is to let your work speak for itself. Paint things for yourself, share it on Instagram, Facebook, etc. and people will contact you asking to do commisions because they like you for your style. The process is slow going but you end up doing more rewarding work than slaving away for pennies on the hour. It takes a while to get there.
