Excellent video, Nic! I really like how you added the round dowels to give the feeling of a log cabin, clever. Good chance the Inspector shut down your first thatched roof attempt. He's not worried about people's feelings, he only cares about the final product. Wow! Those trees look amazing! Killer start to the new year!

@@AbandonedMiniatures saw the Patreon post about the roof. I’m working on a wooden model boat, and practically no instructions (China). They had 2 photos of the completed model that I’m working off of! Also didn’t supply enough wood for the spars. So I had to check out my local dollar stores for supplies!

NIce shack, the only thing is a little bit unfits that the walls is too vertically, especially to compare with amazing chaotic roof. But to be honest, my absolutely love in this diorama is trees. I feel spirit of an old forest full of mysteries, keeping its spine-chilling secrets.

As usual your modelling is detailed and impressive. When you video your setups the results are always evocative of scary movies. BTW I noticed you used a smoke machine, was it easy to use?

Thanks! Yes, I used a cheap Halloween one. It’s very easy to use but you need the right room size to make it work.
