Great, easy to understand and fast tutorial. Perfect for beginners, and even little more seasoned painters can get something out of it. The black/white primer is an really easy way to learn and understand when starting to work with lighting effects on your minis.

Great video. The only thing I wonder is: What is the point of the zenithal priming and having shadows from it, when it is so important to have a fully opaque base coat of colors? The only advantage left is, spotting some details while painting is easier. Looking forward to see your channel grow. Keep going!

that's very true, there are several benefits left, first of all, its easier to paint on the lighter surface. Also it's easier to see the details while painting. next is, the black/dark lines are still dark, so you can leave them dark. so basically, easier to paint on lighter surface, but still keep the dark lines :) thank you alot for you comment and the time you took to write it :)

shadings the the work for the light (natural or artificial) not for the paint ;)

I can’t stay in the lines. Too far this way with one color, too far that way with the other color. Really discouraging
