@@ShanitaBartlett Repeat / persistence - we won obedience class with our r.i.p. yorkie years ago . Poodles are smarter so doable , stay at it .

@@ShanitaBartlettkeep telling it to do whatever you want it to do, then after it does it say “good boy/girl!!!” and give them a treat. Ofc it takes time, usually abt a week or two

Our first toy poodle lived to 17.5 years young, she was almost 18 years old when she passed. It’s been 5 years but I still cry thinking of her, she was family… I miss you my little sis ❤️

@5ebrambila oh wow that's so cool yes they are really small and cute but yes mine does agility and I'd recommend starting when they are maby a few months old but yes they can and they are really good at it 😊 ☺️ I do it and he's great 👍 👌 😊

Is it true that poodles cannot be left alone? I want one and i dont work but at some point i will do grocery, errands etc, is it true that all get separation anxiety?

It's all in the training! I have a feisty 18yr old grey mini and I've left her for as many as 8hrs when I worked and she they were fine.......I also had a mini peeka-poo who was 6yrs older than the poodle and he lived to be 20yrs old and had no sickness, just old age and passed in his bed! Plus I never crate my dogs they have free range of the household which I'm my opinion keeps them calm because they had more space to roam around! It also helps to go out and leave the puppy/dog for an hr and keep increasing the range by an hr every few days until you reach the desired amount of time. And whether you're going to work, errands, etc, tell them where you're going and that you'll be back. That way the pet gets a sense of when you'll be back and not wait at the door for you! They can be alone, it took mine 4-5 months to adapt to a 8hr work schedule. You just got to train them.

@@jesselucio5012 You obviously don't know poodles , bottom line is this breed doesn't LIKE to be alone for long periods - it's documented . I don't care what you do .
