:Used to live in Leigh on Sea just down the road in the seventies. Never knew this was there. I left late mid nineties, so the railway ought to have been going by then.

Used to take the kids to Waterside pools back in the late 90's and would visit the railway sometimes on a Sunday morning. I and my family live in NZ and my son brought up the subject a couple of days ago ( he would have only been 4 or 5 at the time) but obviously made quite an impact on him!

these are absulutly brillient issues to watch on youtube makes you so awear as an enthusiats of places to go and places open to you, im not quite sure on his name but the person presenting this issuse is such a great guy hes language is so worming and very interesting to learn from :D

I myself am a junior member at the Chingford and district model engineering club and regularly drive my 5" battery electric loco and a members 7 1/4 gauge Alice class narrow gauge quarry Hunslet at the club and do odd jobs like cleaning locos and gardening.

TheSkyWright I really want to join a club but there is none near me (unless they don't advertise online) And tbh I can't find any when I google, do you have any tips ? There is a preserved railway, but that is full size.
