It's been way too long since I've worked on a dollhouse kit! This little 1940s inspired train cabin kit was the perfect project to get me back into it. I love how this project includes moving parts and lights! I had a ton of fun creating it and hope you enjoy this video :)

i made a 3D puzzle thing for my mom. she painted parts so it looked cool when it was all done. i do wish more craft stores sold this type of art/puzzle/craft fun!

This kit is absolutely gorgeous and I can't get over how well designed and perfectly the pieces fit together. Whoever came up with it, put in a lot of thought and engineering. I also love how they included all the lights, wiring and connectors too. I'm not usually a fan of kits but I adore this one. Maybe I'll gift myself one for Xmas hehe. Thank you for sharing 💝

What i loveee about your crafts are your special delicate details and you leave your touch on your projects ~ i really like that. I saw the original for the train kit but, i like your set better; its soo comfy and cutly customized ❤ i wish i had it 😅 kinda gives off harry potters higwarts train vibes!

Oh, my goodness! It is my fantasy at night when I can't sleep to imagine myself in an old fashioned sleeper car on a train. I put on the sound of a train going over train tracks and this lulls me to sleep. What a beautiful mini! Thank you so much for sharing! Great video!

Brilliant, this would make a nice sleepy time light, it would be hypnotic to watch as you drift to sleep. I wonder if there is a place on line where you could pick up the sounds of an old train clicking along the tracks, so you could have the recording play in a continuous 'loop' while you watch the scenery going by? Beautiful customization, you should be proud!

Well done. However, my concern is for the person that came up with this idea in 2021-hope they get credit for the kit as well. It was the same motorized cyclical scene in the window- the Hogwarts Express book nook: The Propping Block.

Also, for gluing clear plastic, another KZfaqr mentioned that "foam-safe superglue" will prevent the clouding of the clear plastic that regular superglue (cyanoacrylate) causes.

This is probably wonderful for people who don't know spit about commercial and private cars, because this doesn't make sense for either. You are treating it like a room in a house (ooo, it doesn't seem spacious; the window mullions don't look "clean" enough; the room is only for sleeping and private work), where you can go somewhere else to sit by day and you don't have to turn banquettes to beds and back again, you don't need heating, and you never need fresh air. It's a goofy customization. This isn't how "sleeper cars" work.

Thanks for the feedback and sharing your wealth of knowledge. This wasn’t meant to represent a real life sleeper car as it’s an art display and not an engineering model. For future reference as you work on your social interactions, sharing your expertise will be much more welcomed without adding insults. Saying things like “don’t know spit” or “goofy” doesn’t do much for your attempt at gaining validation from others for self-declared intelligence.

You have left quite a few comments on her videos and none are kind or constructive. Is there a reason you choose to watch videos that seem to make you so very angry and unkind? It seems an odd hobby for a grown a$$ person to watch videos that make them so upset.

This kit is a knockoff of @theproppingblock ‘s gorgeous hand built hogwarts express book nook from a couple of years ago. I don’t normally get upset on other people’s behalf but this one is pretty egregious. Not your fault, obviously, but definitely not nice on the part of the kit maker.

Agreed. It’s not a reflection on Cath, she’s awesome and bought it in good faith. But Anavrin ripped off @theproppingblock. We’d all be furious if Anavrin ripped off one of Cath’s original creations, wouldn’t we?
