Welcome to Minimal Movement. The series where I try to beat games while pressing the least amount of buttons.

This challenge makes me really appreciate the level of accessibility motion controls gave with the Wii. easy for younger and older folks who may struggle with hand dexterity! being able to do some of the most difficult levels of this game simply with a joystick and shaking your controller is really quite cool to think about compared to most controller-based games

As far as a challenge run goes, 23 would typically not be that great. But then you remember how many buttons you usually press when playing Mario...

Man, this is a quality channel. Maybe missing a little bit of the editing and mic quality of the big challenge runners, but I was not expecting it to be this good. You 100% deserve the support you are getting on this vid and you 100% deserve even more!

after beating 5-4 doesn’t the vines block you from going to the ghost house, requiring you to enter a different level and die so that the vines will move. which would add one more jump

i mean this was really just playing without sprinting or pressing jump but it's a pretty cool concept. I think you shouldn't count menus and world maps as the real game is just within the levels, but maybe keep a seperate counter for "meta button presses" like other youtubers. cool video 👍

I was originally going to have meta right presses but I felt like i should include EVERY button press since I am trying to see how many buttons you need from opening to ending the game. I will definitely add Meta presses to my next minimal movement video though. (Mainly because there are more menus)

To be honest I didn't enjoy this video as much as some other challenges. There wasn't really a problem throughout the entire video. You found a solution for moving and jumping and just like that the entire game is possible. The button presses outside the gameplay aren't too interesting.

@@Ansel_G i don't mind like holding the button for 20 seconds but i do mind holding buttons through multiple levels, per every level a button is hold for 1 press shouldbe added

@@Rocket_Gunner7414 well this is “minimum button presses” so it’s mostly how many buttons were pressed in real life than buttons pressed in-game. Not sure if I clarified that in the intro, but this challenge is with the controller outside the game
