I decided to upload again, but this time an 8 minute video of me complaining about white squares, McDonald's, and other interesting things that people have decided to rip the life out of. Working harder on every video, so one day my parents will be proud of me (they won't). Either way thanks for watching!

I can't believe I could relate more to this video than I did. You literally spoke my mind, it's crazy. Even though I live in Europe and sell lamps for a living, the blandness of many millennials is just saddening tbh... I always appreciate people who are going with suggestions of designers or, even myself, because then it shows that they care for what they put in their home.

Everything is the same nowadays. if you couldnt read; You wouldnt know if you were in an Arbys or McDonalds If you were on one social media or the other if you were in Seattle or Toronto.

The point of having bland is so that you can put whatever temporary additional style you want if its a rented spot. You dont have to deal with anyone elses "creativity". I prefer the boring minimalist look became i can make it pretty if i wanted to

victorian houses are ugly. Early 20th century brick is where it is at.

That brick look was seen as terrible at the time. It was seen as industrial and cheap. Interests change.

@@TheFireGiver Brick, especially the old stuff, is wonderfull. It has texture, both in color and feel, which can vary widely. Brick can be decorated in many ways, even just by itself but using different sizes, angles or orientations. The fact its cheap makes it only even better. That industrial look, the old industrial look, its beautifull. Those old birck factories are some of the most beautifull buildings in any town they still exist in. The modern grey painted metal plastic boxes? Theyre an eyesore. Id be happy if they all spontaniously combusted. Its just so artificial. Brick is just so mutch more human. Im so happy im from the netherlands where still actually have some taste. America used to be full of the most beautifull brick buildings on the planet, and towns full of nice ones aswell. But you all tore them down to make way for steel, plastic and glass monstroceties, and wide long black concrete and tar roads.

@@TheFireGiver The reason I dont like the victorian buildings is because they just look so fake. They intend to mymic something they are not. Those types of buildings, so small and their color is often just so drab. That all combined with the over the top amounts of detail just makes them look ugly. In general at least, the ones in San Fransisco look way better. The color variation and detailing can still be a bit over the top, but theyve got that right level of orderlyness. Especially compared to the chaotic mess of those found in the average suburbs. Its not some random outlier compared to the rest of the city, its a part of the cities identity.

Theres nothing about minimalism that requires everything to be white and grey. It's far more about not having useless junk. That live laugh love example you gave is the exact opposite of minimalism. I think you hate suburbia, not minimalism.

Last time I was there none of the cheeses on my sandwich were melted including a solid slab of gouda and the fries were ice cold. If that complaint is overdone then maybe Arby's actually does suck
