Does minimalist tranexamic serum purged..?

Even in their website they are suggesting tranexmic acid I'm having this doubt since its exfoliate can I use it along with someother active is it fine?

Yes same happened with me i used their 5%niacinamide on damp skin it cause me dryness as it also contains HA then I messaged them they say main ingredient is niacinamide so I shd use in dry skin ..

What do you mean by damp skin? Is it immediately after cleansing or after toning? You said everything but didn't say anything about how did you exactly used it either after cleansing or toning??

I have pinned this comment, so that, we can get the perspective of other side as well. Having said that Alpha arbutin works to reduce hyperpigmentation. If you don't have any dark spots it might not do anything as it does not work like Vit C which in general brightens up

The pathways are pretty similar but Vit C helps to reduce dullness which AA does not give 💖

Hello 😊 I guess we have to agree to disagree. Because when I'm addressing a mass audience, I have a responsibility of people using the product without supervision. And I wouldn't want a teenager to use actives without supervision. I'm sorry but nobody can guarantee that an active won't cause any harm. You are right in a way, I should have said teenagers shouldn't use it instead of cannot.

Hi dear, Using salycylic acid serum reduced your pores and acne marks? I've many more pores, white heads and black heads and i've read that salycylic acid reduce these on face. Could you reply with your experience?

Hey Muskan, this might not be your mistake. Please, don't worry. There can be many things that could led to breakouts. 1) Confirm if it's purging or breakouts 2) Try to pin point if you are allergic to any of the base products, for e.g. aloe vera 3) Otherwise, how is your skin with niacinamide?

@@AboliA thanks a lot for replying 😭 1) my skin was getting pretty clear because I was watching my diet and I was on accutane for a month and I was only struggling with scars but when I used the minimalist serums i got tiny pimples on the the areas i never really broke out and my skin became bumpy. 2) my moisturizer and cleanser has aloevera extract but i never really used aloevera juice on my skin 3) I have used bellissa lite cream (prescribed by my dermatologist)on my skin before and it had a lot of niacinamide so it wasn't the first time I used niacinamide on my skin. Thanks a lot again for replying. I don't expect u to read all of it, but i am grateful that we have KZfaqrs like you who really care for their veiws. God bless.... You can use arbutin and niacinamide along side ... It doesn't irritate most people but if you have sensitive skin then use alternate nights. Lactic acid of minimalist is 10% which is a bit high, if you don't irritate using acids on your skin use it about once a week. Else once in 10 days. Also you want to cleanse, tone, then use the exfoliant and wait for 10 mins before you use any active on top. If you still get irritation then you can use the acid for 10-15 mins and rinse it off with water then pat dry and use the serum followed by moisturizer. Go slow and your skin will build tolerance to the products then you might use then all together in the same night but it will take a long time to get to that stage.

Just one question that i do use vit c in morning and niacinamide amd retinol at nighttime and it has worked for me..but has left my skin sort of dry and dull without any glow... For few marks and uneven skin tone should i use alpha arbutin or vit c or will using.both give better results.. my skin responds very slowly to any product i think.... Also if vit c is better which one would uou suggest.. derma co has not.worked for me and klairs is expensive for me as suggested by many

You can use both! Niacinamide will help with both acne and hyperpigmentation and alpha arbutin just helps with hyperpigmentation from what I’ve heard
